Addon to add custom label to actionbars?

Is there an addon that allows to display custom text/labels for an action bar? this text can be attached to the bar or positioned/roaming anywhere on the screen /movable.

For example, i have an action bar for heals abilities/potions, another for defense abilities, etc. Not to confuse with the actual buttons text.

I’d like to have text just above the bar to say the type of abilities on the bar:

Heals
|b1|b2|b3|b4|

Defense
|b1|b2|b3|b4|

I use ElvUI with windtools but can’t find anything. it must be compatible with ElvUI, i’m not looking for a different UI addon.

You could make a weakaura for that im pretty sure. Idk if elvui has a solution for that.

I was going to suggest a Weakaura as well. Just a simple text box would do. Easy to create as well.

any chance you know how to create an example with 4 such labels with custom font/size? i need to be able to move each label independently on X/Y of screen.

i have never created anything in WA and can’t find an easy way.
would be appreciated

I’m going to save this post. When I get off work in a few hours, I’ll just make it for you and upload it to Wago .io so you can download. Hopefully I can get that to work.

What do you want the 4 labels to say?

any text in each field is fine, i think that i can change it in the weakaura you create afterwards.
i use a few auras and know how to do minor adjustments to positions but not coding or creating objects.

for now it’s
bar1- Heals/Buffs
bar2- Interrupt/Defense
bar3- Power/Mods
bar4- Aggro/Stun/Utility/Res

if each of the 4 text labels is independent, i should be able to adjust their location on the screen to be near the action bar.

So I can’t really get it to post to Wago :frowning:

In WeakAuras, just click New Aura at the top. Make it a Text. Label the “Display Text” box what you want to name them. Then just move it to where you want. Do this for each one and you should be good.

If you want it combined into the actionbar, that’s going to need an actual mod which would take a long while to do
