I bring good news! I have made an addon for Solo Shuffle, which mutes the chat automatically upon joining the game. No more bans for chat abuse, and let actions speak louder than any verbal insults you may encounter.

Imagine people raging at a game so hard that they need an addon to prevent them from getting banned for being a general stain on society lmao
It can happen to the best as well to lose patience/self control.
I think the system is automated but pretty generous. I’ve never been silenced or banned and for sure people spam report me in shuffle just because they are malding about something or talking trash to me when I’m on healer. Crusader reports people for misplays every day on stream.
Pointless add on you can disable social chat in settings.

Yes you can, but as with many convenience features, the easier the better (a.k.a. automatic)
I get man you want to make a successful add on and I hope you do but this isnt it, theres a single button you can press to accomplish this already
True that, and if you don’t want to do that all the time, it has been taken care of automatically this way ^^
Only problem with the in-game one is that it mutes all channels like guild/btag friends.
I think it should just mute in arena/say/yell chat
friends whispers still go through bnet regardless. Who uses guild chat anymore?
They didn’t go through for me and some of us still use guild.
I’ll check on the btag one again to make sure
You dont use guild chat youre just trying to come up with some reason this is worth the time to download
From Bnet you can still get the whispers. I wish Blizz added more options to which channel to disable like this.
