This is apparently an ongoing issue, but I figured I’d report on it again.
Any addon setting changes don’t get saved when closing the game. This seems to be affecting the base UI as well because the Bug Reporter thing keeps resetting back to the center of the screen over and over.
This is a Blizzard side issue. Until they fix the API it will keep happening.

Yeah as an addon dev this has been frustrating but we just have to wait. I found a MINOR workaround for devs but not applicable to users, AND it’s not even worth programming around: Settings can be shoved in to CVARS, which allows settings persistence between switching characters, but the moment you exit the game, by nature those are wiped. So it hasn’t even been worth pushing versions live with such a janky temp fix.
Hope they fix this soon, it’s driving us crazy. I know, beta and all that, but it’s hampering progress quite a bit.
