I downloaded betterblizzplates addon and by default it had removed by cast bars on nameplates and couldnt figure out how to get it back through the addon so i deleted the addon but now my nameplates are gone, it is on in settings, they show the name and dragon elite icon but the nameplate is invisible basically. I’ve reset cvar settings, i’ve even reset my wow ui by doing the wtfOld etc… that actually repaired my nameplates but the problem is it deleted all my WA and addons so i reverted that, now im back to square one after deleting the addon i have no nameplates. Just to add i use default ui and default nameplates normally and customize it through the cvar commands.
We handle crashes and disconnects in this forum. I recommend asking in UI and Macro

I’m the author behind BetterBlizzPlates. Just wanted to drop in and say sorry for any hiccups you’ve run into with the addon. I am new to programming and there has been a few reports about CVar’s not working correctly.
BetterBlizzPlates could potentially save some invalid CVar values and if so resetting your CVars will not cut it if you still have my addon on because the addon could just put them right back to those invalid settings when you log in again.
To fix that, I’ve added a new button and a couple of slash commands to help clear things up. You can use:
/bbp resetto reset every setting in BetterBlizzPlates, including CVar’s./bbp fixnameplatesto reset only the nameplate CVar’s.
