Since they want to replace some combat related addons…I would like a Mythic Plus addon replacement for the UI. I think they should bake into the UI raiderio scores for each role, what keys party members have, quick 1 button portal, time left for each “chest” during a key, group member interrupts, major party cooldowns, and route planning on the mini map.
This is not a negative thread. I actually want them to try to integrate these functions into the ui.
The only thing that needed replacement is blizzard management.
They need to replace the lore and story team.
Within 10 years there will be a skynet addon

All this talk about addons is stupid, they could have already started addressing places where addons make up for shortcomings in the base game design, but somehow haven’t gotten around to doing that part yet. Just empty talk.
World of Warcraft has been the number one fantasy MMO for the last 20 years. Can you give us an MMO management team that has done better since 2004?
If we’re talking replacing addons, maybe Blizz could “package” together some themes we could choose from? Something that is class related, with class colors and elements that fit the class, or just thematical like Legion themed. Could be fun.
I’d also like replacement mini map and a better WQ questing experience when it comes to the world map.
Okay a few more. How about improving the tooltip, letting us add/remove info (TipTac style) and showing what stats get upgraded when comparing pieces? An in-game team maker for pet battles?
They can’t even add a coordinate display to the default map and you’re out here wanting theme packs??

No one really knows for sure. Add to that, Shadowlands happened during the pandemic which throws everything into question.
But if FF 14 did inch ahead, it wasn’t by much. And even if it did spend a brief time in 2nd place in the last 20 years, why would that mean Blizzard management needs to be replaced?

True, but they completely dropped the ball in both. SL specifically had such a solid foundation. And they just cut half the xpac.
And unlike wod, they can’t blame anyone but themselves. Wod, they put more focus on the movie and completely neglected the game.
Advertising works and SL was getting horrible negative advertising from mega subscription YouTube CCs. Now we can argue forever whether it was justified or not but keeping SL going was clearly not cost justified.
And DF was ready so why not jump to the next expansion?

It was just sad to see the massive plot holes. And to be fair, ZM was fantastic. I loved that zone.
And then yea DF knocked it out of the park as far as turnarounds went.
This topic is always up for debate. People say they hated SL. Personally I loved SL. As for DF, I really liked Dragon Flight and Follower Dungeons but I didn’t care for the rest of the expansion.
But that’s just my opinion.
They are just jumping on the bandwagon. Some features were pretty hot garbage, but there was so much to do. I know raiding and m+ was really fun.
If we are talking story… yea let’s not get into that haha.
DF, I was never bored. I spent a lot of time in the mega dungeon too. Then it became m+. Was a good challenge.
