Addon for finding new pets?

Wondering if anyone knows an addon for finding new pets? Kind of like a NPCscan or Silverdragon but for pets you don’t own?

There’s PetTracker. You can set it up to show a list of all the pets available in whatever zone your in, including any vendor pets sold there. You can also set it to show the spawn points of the wild pets in each zone, with filters to show all of them or only the ones you haven’t captured yet.

It hasn’t been updated yet for the Forbidden Reach or Zaraleck Caverns though.

Thanks :slight_smile: I have that one already, I use it when I’m specifically pet hunting but I was wondering if I could get a notification when I fly above one I don’t have when it shows up on the minimap

I haven’t heard of anything that would ding or flash if it detected a missing pet, although that would be great if there is one. I’m 2 for 4 so far on the Zaralek rare spawns and something like that would be a big help.

You can make targeting macros though and spam them as you fly around to help some what.

This would be a welcome addition. I bring up the pet menu and search by a specific zone to see what I am missing, which can be burdensome.

There used to be many more players making addons for Pet battles, but these days many have left the game I think.
Blizzard has not invested much in Pet battles over the years.
If you find something useful let us know here?

Kinda seems like pet battles especially are all about the hunt.

Don’t really love that Npc scan itself is even a thing. Like the idea of a battle pet equivalent even less.

I’m thinking you could add those NPC ID’s to one of the scanners and it would ding if it showed up.
It would work for a couple but to add every single one you are missing would be tiresome. Though if I can figure out how to do it, I might create my own addon to do this.

Pet Tracker works well. I use it to get the ones I don’t have.

I ha e gotten all of the caverns pets, it was quite easy as there aren’t many and I do it when getting mining nodes or treasures. It certainly was eaaier than some of the hard to get ones in the Waking Shores

I miss having a proper PB PVP cooldown tracker.
There used to be a much better one, but I think the publisher quit playing.

tried adding pet npc ID to rare scanner and i got it working!
