Is there an addon that will make an audible alert when my healer is in CC?
Better yet, once that vocalizes which CC they are in or makes different sounds based on whether or not you can use Blessing of Sanctuary on them?
GladiusLOSSA? if it’s still a thing? You could configure weak auras to do it, but might just be better to get bigdebuffs, but that’s not audio to my knowledge.

I have BigDebuffs, but sometimes you don’t see the whole field as melee.
Also, my brain hyperfocuses. I have like no peripheral awareness. So audio is best.
I’ve watched streamers have adding that honk and stuff when Mindgames is cast

I’d argue that they help with awareness quite a lot. What they ruin is likely your ability to anticipate when something’s about to happen.

temporarily maybe. better to play without all those addons cluttering your screen.
but as an enh shaman im always looking at my teammates health to offheal. and big debuffs lets you know when theyre cced.
If it’s a good default to work with, I can probably add sound cues to it. Will take a look and see.
Edit: Oh nevermind, seems there’s already a sound attached, so you’re good to go. To do separate sounds I’d have to divide the weak aura a few times, which I can do if you want, but you might try it with the current sound set up first, as that might take some time / effort.
It’s why I go with custom weak auras. I can determine how cluttered it is, how much of the screen it takes up, and determine if it’s worth blinding me for the sake of me paying attention to it.
Default UI with Big Debuffs is legitimately all you need.

That doesn’t make sense to me. Everyone takes in information differently.
Learned this in college. It’s why professors will typically put things up on a slide and say things out loud. Some people’s brains prioritize information that comes in through their eyes, while others might take in information better through their ears.
I like gladiatorlossa for some things, though it can be a distraction. Bigdebuffs is def the best for just general play though.

yeahhh hypothetically Gladius is one of the best add-ons in the game… but I couldn’t for the life of me process the information by looking at it. I just ended up glazing over it. It’s why I’ve always resorted to power auras / weak auras to display the information in ways I can digest.

Honestly, it might just be easier for people to learn to play RSS as if the Healer was always CC’d. That wouldn’t be too far from the truth, seeing as RSS players typically throw every single CC in their spell book at Healers on CD. 
They do? 0.o That has… not been my experience lol. Granted I’m always hiding behind the darkest corner I can find.

That’s how it has always seemed to me. Literally on CD. They reason they do it is because they’re using their CC as pseudo interrupts; after all, you can juke a kick, but can’t juke a stun, fear, blanket silence, etc.
Edit: I wish I could just stay back and heal like a cast-weaver should, but RSS players don’t seem to understand how to play with all the healers in the game. They think every MW is a fist-weaver, and they play as such. In my experience, they rarely change their strategies based on their comp, and they tend to drag their RSS Healers out into bad positions - or they charge in and die behind a pillar like real RSS heroes do. It’s hard not to get CC’d a million times when your mongo melee team charges in, forcing you to follow.
I’m lookin forward to precog being baseline so it actually rewards the jukes. I guess they throw CC, but they rarely chain it, and they rarely toss interrupts on me seemingly (or i just always get out the enveloping before they do, completely negating the interrupt)
