Addon button missing addon folder empty

Hi there

I am not a computer tech; I had a problem in the game in surrounding the Mission Table in the Garrison. In the follower tab where it shows all the followers on the left and the highlighted follower should be large and to the right, the follower is ‘hiding’ behind the left-hand column. You can see it peek out occasionally.
I contacted support. They had be uncheck all addons. Close the game, go into the cogwheel next to Play button.
From there go in Explorer and the version of the game ‘retail’ and rename the Cache, Interface and WTF folders to ‘Old Cache, Old Interface. Old WTF.’
Then relaunch the game.
The Mission Table Commander Addon is now the regular game default, but the follower is still missing.
Now the Addon button is missing and the Addon folder is empty.
Blizzard told me they couldn’t help any further and ask in the forum.

So here I am… asking for help.

This forum is about General Classic issues, and Vanilla Classic Era. I don’t think mission tables and garrisons are topics that folks here are going to be up to date on, by and large.

However, I wish you the best of luck in finding your answer. There are those forum posters here that play multiple flavors, so someone may come along with some insight.
