Just wondering if they plan to gradually increase the number of shaman weapon enchants?
Rn they’re basically just functioning as a cosmetic effect for elemental and resto.
Kinda hoping they’ll bring back some of the old enchants like old flametongue for spellcasting as well as earthliving.
It’s worse than that, because they prevent you from using shadowlands weapon oils like you should be with ele/resto

It seems pointless to have them even be buttons at the moment. There are no options.
For enhancement, just automatically have Windfury applied to main hand at all times, and Flametongue applied to offhand at all times. For resto and ele, while fairly useless, automatically have flametongue applied to main hand at all times.
There’s no reason to have them be 60 minute buffs when they’re self-only and there’s no decision about which imbue goes where.
Then allow all shaman specs to use weapon oils without impacting the imbues.
At least we aren’t DKs who have to chose between rune forging and enchants.
I remember when we did have a bunch. Resto had one that only they could use. Its been a long time since I played and when I came back it was gone so I don’t remember the name. We also used to have rocketed which was a threat mod weapon imbue
Earthliving, which gave chance to heal with every u heal cast.
Rockbiter, but that was back when enhance was intended to be a tank spec, not dps.
Imagine if all those weapon enchants was back
Like you could go dual earthliving for more heals or dual flametongue for more spelldamage
But the game is so dumbed down nowadays it wouldnt work.
Anyone else missing weapon speeds, like 2 big slow handers or go crazy with 2 daggers or just mixing both.
Blizzard is just milking their fanbase with boring design, if fresh devs that had a clue, wow could be amazing.
Those devs are on other ips…hence why the shaman heroes in HotS actually play great and the Horde get interesting focus in Hearthstone. The forged in the barrens trailer confirmed in my mind that Hearthstone team understands horde better then the current WoW team.
