None, I think instead of adding new classes to the game right now, we should be adding more specs to the classes. I tihnk DH should come up to 3 and everyone else should come up to 4.
Dude you prety much hit the nail on the head. This is exactly my situation i started as prot this expansion and when i got into my current guild they are constantly pulling me into m+ groups and raids. I can barely keep up with it lol
Bad players are bad. I avoid them by playing with my friends. Best advice I can give is add people to btag and play with them.
At 37, my friends are changing diapers and playing classic. Not an option for folks like me.
They don’t have to be people you know irl. Just people you enjoy playing with in game. Idk anyone irl who plays any more but my friends list is plenty busy.
Besides I now have couches around the world I could probably sleep on if I were to travel to the right places
Blizzard already has 36? Specs to tune and balance. And you want 11 more? That’s a lot of wishful thinking.
With 6 tank specs already that cover imo a wide range if game play options I don’t think accessibility of a tanking spec is how problem.
People just don’t like responsibility
In the other thread you’re literally advocating for DPS pulls so tanks can “learn to adapt”
Then when are you going to learn how to deal with stuff you don’t plan? Answer. You won’t.
Sometimes you gotta throw the text book out the window
Just no.
If a healer tells me they’re good with more or I see the DPS/Healer can handle more I’ll bring them. DPS just do your job. Kill things when green lit.

totally unrelated…weren’t you a draenei?
And I stand by what I said. Dps or more commonly healers going off to do tasks like pulling payrolls before they are on the wrong spot or starring rp etc is what happens at higher levels of play
To say only tanks should pull is a very basic level of game play for beginners.
Always a shortage of tanks, maybe if we had more tank specs, we’d have less of a shortage.
For a second there I thought this was a necro from 3 expansions ago.
The tank options doubled. There’s still a shortage. Stahp.

Yep. I loathed being a jacked caster. So I bit the bullet and changed my look. And the iTotems were so awful.

But we’re talking about queued content not preformed.
Then it doesn’t matter because it’s all easy enough that a resto druid could tank it in bear form or a dh with blur for the big packs.

cool. Like the beard. And happy I don’t need to get checked for dementia.

This is elitist nonsense. This game isn’t difficult, and the higher content means you just have a lot of time to blow.
The majority of the players and payers use LFD, and if you’re not designing the game for them, you might as well ask what our economic policy in the US should be with the top 1%.

But it’s not because the same issue continues to exist and doesn’t remedy itself because of your mentality.
Problem isn’t lack of specs, it’s lack of sense. People treat tanks like crap and act like fools. You want more tanks, reign in the shenanigans.
Theres a level of anxiety you get Q’ing up as a tank for a pug that never seems to go away. I’ve been playing more DPS lately and honestly… while it’s better, it’s not much better. I think the reason it’s so much worse when playing as a tank or a healer is because you feel responsible for the groups success and when it’s going poorly you feel like it means YOU are screwing up. As DPS I feel sort of free. As long as my numbers are good and I’m popping interrupts when needed and avoiding damage so as to not tax the healer, I dont’ really care about anyone else in the group. It’s like playing your own little game with people around you instead of being the driving force of the group.
This is exactly how I feel about tanking and dps. Healing isn’t the same anxiety as tank because I’m not trying to clean up aggro issues from eager dps, but still have the feeling of responsibility. DPS just feels more “free” for the low level content I do

Am I doing that right?
But seriously, give all classes a tank spec. Then all those idiot dps players who eventually get curious enough to try it out for the insta queue will finally be given a dose of their own medicine. Hopefully then people will realise how much of a douche they’ve been to their tanks at long last.
Once again, paladins refuse to tank, warriors refuse to tank, druids refuse to tank, demon hunters refuse to tank, monks refuse to tank.
Please tell me how giving a mage a tank spec means the players for that class are somehow going to act differently than the multiple examples we currently have of people playing classes with tank specs that refuse to tank?
Where is the logic?
