But it’s not more delay to flying? The revered rep grind will take far longer than exploring both zones, which unless they changed it, the entirety of the zones will be unlocked from the start so we can explore both day one. Also, I think nearly everyone expected the exploration requirements because at least that part makes sense.
This kind of outrage is pretty unnecessary.
Also: people complain there’s nothing to do, Blizzard adds stuff to do for crab mount, and the community:
Please make up your mind. Do you want instant gratification or stuff to do?
How does exploring the zones add more time? Throw on some Course Leather Barding, mount up, explore the zones in less than an hour. 10-20 minutes for Mechagon.
This isn’t more time to flying. It’d take 2-3 weeks for you to get Pathfinder in the first place. Exploring the zone can be done day 1 in no time at all.
Cool! Then the crab mount isn’t for you, but please enjoy the mounts you can buy with gold or the ones that drop from the rares in Arathi/Darkshore. Those seem right up your alley!
oh no eXploRInG! It’s not you’d have to do that anyways to do the quests and WQs which would get you to revered. Plus who can even stand not having a completed map?
You also have to first obtain another mount which is a random drop from a cache for which you can do a daily grind. For anyone familiar with the Vash’jir qust line of buying things to get the red monocle for the Hive Mind, it’s much the same as that.
It took me 3 months of daily grinds to get the white bear mount from Northrend, which is also a drop from a cache available daily, and it took a friend 6 months of daily attempts to get the Emerald Proto-Whelp, so I don’t expect it will only take weeks to get the Crab.
