I thought Blizzard did a great job in being resourceful, years back, by allowing several races to adopt hairstyles from other races.
I’ve wanted to see the Night Elf mane hairstyle available for Void Elves, since their release.
Please consider utilizing your (Blizzard) resourcefulness to add Mane, long, and potential other Night Elf hairstyles to flesh out more options for the Ren’dorei!
I like what’s available, but those would really bolster the traditional elven look, as mane was used by the Silvermoon guards and early builds of the playable Blood Elf!

Were you playing the game back when they did race-sharing hairstyles? Humans got a few of the Blood Elves, Dwarves some of the Night Elves, Blood Elves some of the Night Elves… and so on!

Considering that gnome and mechagnome heads are the same, I would like to see all those small ones get the hairstyle pool of both races
My regular gnome can use grease too! My robognome wants to not lose “the curl” just because his arms changed

I think they should also do the reverse and add the blood elf shonen spikes to night elves tbh (did they actually? I haven’t been to the barber on my night elves in like a year)

I’m with that, too! I’m not sure how much work is required. If you look at the original Silvermoon Guards, you’ll see how they adorned the exact same hairstyle that Night Elf males use.

I’m of the idea that the more customization a game has the better. Let all the hairstyles apply where they can fit, and add more stuff in general.

You can sometimes still spot NPCs here and there who use regular customization that’s not actually allowed to the player on that race but yeah that was a pretty common thing in Eversong.
Incidentally I’ve always felt that if they wanted to not go nuts and make unique ranger customizations for blood and void elves they could just reuse night elf paints, it’s not like they’re super different from what the farstriders should have lorewise.

i wish they’d give me some of those human hairstyles from shadowlands, the long one is so friggin big on humans that it probably could fit on pandas as is

Why stop there? Mechagnomes, and most other allied races, really should have been customization options for existing races. Just squish them all together with their main races.

I am still waiting for more male (body type 1) Human hairstyles, especially more short hairstyles like Turaylon’s (80s scissor cut) or maybe a shorter flat top and a “Ragnar” cut.

I’ve thought many times that - if they borrowed a few of the old school elven hairstyles for the Ren’dorei - that a shimmery purple slow could be added into the hair, as an option.

Honestly Void and Blood elves ought to have the same hair options (just sans tentacles for Blood elves)…I mean we’re just exiled Blood elves anyways, why can’t we share the same hair?

I mean at launch I would have wanted void elf hair for my blood elves, before they did a couple customization passes most of the blood elf hair options hadn’t been updated forever

Why not ask for new, unique hairstyles instead. Adding mere copy-paste options is just plain laziness
