Adding toys (and more) to the WoW API

Those of you who have ever used websites such as Simple Armory or Data For Azeroth have probably found that their toy collection is not able to be effectively shown. This is because toys are not returned from the WoW API. An endpoint for them has not been created. Instead, web app developers have to instead look at your character’s achievement progress or addon information.

Toys have been around for awhile, since Warlords of Draenor. With the ever-increasing popularity of collecting and websites to track collections, this would be a great addition, especially given that there are ~100+ “hidden” toys that don’t show up in the toybox but are obtainable.

It would also be awesome to see even more collection items added to the WoW API, such as heirlooms, unique transmog appearances/cosmetics, and weapon illusions. These websites are great and widely used for tracking your collections and comparing them against other players on your server, region, or globally.
