For RCR? Not until after a preliminary punishment is handed out by the automated system. The algorithm handles all RCR reports on its own.
If you fill out an actual ticket and not just RCR, then yes, it goes straight to a GM.

But I would never be able to chat

SJW stuff here lol. Just use the ignore. If other people are offended they can use ignore as well lol.
There’s an ignore button. Use it and move on. You don’t need to report every little thing that irritates you. I’m sure the Blizzard support team has enough to deal with.
Sounds like you need to take a break from the game, if you need a feature to punish people for a difference of opinion!
Ignore them or move on, stop being a whine bag
While I know most of the political jibber-jabber I see is trolling, one thing that has come up is that political talk is not, in and of itself, a violation of the chat rules.
Personally, I tend to use Spamming when the amount of political chatter is making normal use of the channel (Trade, LFG) non-viable. It was always considered the way to report ‘games’ where one person would start and a bunch of people would pipe up (think murloc movies).
Mostly, though, I agree with “Ignore”.
First, I add a chat window for Trade and LFG. I leave it behind the General and Combat Log windows, and turn Trade off in the main window. (On a couple realms, even Local / General chat gets moved, as does Yell.)
Then, only when I’m interested in seeking a group do I switch to that window. If it’s full of non-LFG chatter, I liberally use Ignore until it’s cleaned up and I can find what I’m looking for. (If someone whispers and is blocked by that ignore, too bad for them.)
Once I’ve got my group, I switch windows back to normal chat. Once the group is done or I’m logging, I tend to remove all the ignores.
There is no safe space in war. You alliance will be squashed like bugs.
This is why I quote things.
About the best thing you can do. If enough people consider it as “Spam” then it’s “Spam”.
LFG is not an unofficial channel and as such has no stated purpose. So you can basically say whatever you want as long as it doesnt violate any other elements of the TOS
Trolling is part of WoW Classic.
Leeroy Jenkins was a troll. It was a staged video of a troll.
Barrens chat was famous for trolling and something that a few look back on fondly.
Linking Thunderfury in trade is trolling, but it’s also the thing most-unique to WoW.
Trolling… is not against the terms of service. Relax your feels. This is the Internet, not a trade negotiation.
If enough people report it as Spam regardless of what you’re talking about, it is considered Spam. Even if you’re “appropriately” using it for LFG purposes. If you’re spamming every minute with “Tank LFG SM”, it’s Spam, in my eyes. And, if enough people agree with me, then it’s Spam.
That’s not how Wow works. Thats not how the world works. That’s not how any of this works.
That isn’t really trolling, that’s just people talking about politics, if you don’t like it ignore them. The game doesn’t need more rules and bans just because you are easily bothered. I personally like it when people start acting stupid in chat.
If trolling was a report option no chat window would get used aside from guild and whisper.
Unfortunately, it is. Blizzard instituted a social justice program where some number of people reporting another is all that is required to get someone muted for an increasing period of time.
This saves on administrative costs, but also puts a lot of power in the hands of the most sensitive WoW players.
Muting is always reviewed by a human. If you were muted, it wasnt because of people spam reporting, it’s because you did something mute-worthy
Is there a button to report someone for being an (o) ?
Untrue. It’s totally automated now.
You are 110% incorrect my friend
Innumeracy aside, no.
