Thatās becuase you donāt care about gameplay nor long-term effects. You want to level up a Tinker ājust becauseā and then leave it to rot on a shelf like most peoplesā alts. Meanwhile, the game is now saddled forever with yet-another-class that takes away time from class development for everyone else.
Every new class that has been added has diminished the gameās class design. They should have stopped after DKās.

I Think that Dungeons and Raids are fun, and I think the classes we have are fun.
So I like WoWs gameplay, Iād like to add more to it.
In particular, Iād like to Add a Class that Iād probably main. Because It would be cooler than any class we have now.
I donāt think WoW is in some terrible unplayable state where itās gameplay is unenjoyable. I think itās good! And I want more.

Tinker as a class could be fun. (Iād play one, if done properly.)
But I imagine like druids, they would need a few different forms / color variants.
Those new forms 'n things would obviously need to be expanded upon going forward as well.

They canāt even get Druids right. Given the appalling state of some of the Druid specs (which seems to be a constant problem), it would be careless to pick up another situation with the same unsolvable problems.

I just rerolled from my main to A Guardian Druid this Expac. Having the time of my life doing 15s.
You can wait for the Heat death of the universe for things to get balanced. Meanwhile, Iāll ask for fun classes to play.

Seems to be an unpopular opinion on this game, but I enjoy Playing WoW.
The classes arenāt perfectly designed or anything, but theyāre fun. for sure,.

Id play a tinker but I think my main would be a Gnome Paladin (whenever they become available.)

Hereās how Iād go about it.
Tinker
Races:
- Gnome, Goblin, Mechagnome & Vulpera.
Specs:
- Tank, Melee dps, Ranged dps, Healer.
Each race gets their own themed Mech, each spec gets itās own look.
Color variants are unlocked via quests, drops, vendor, crafting etcā¦
New mech appearances gained the same way, drops, vendor, crafting etcā¦
While out of combat you can toggle to be in or out of your mech (and the mech does fly.)
Goblin Mech:
-
(Tank spec) Features~ rockets, shield & buzzblade. -Rusty red color
-
(Melee spec) Two hander Axe, O.H.N.O. rockets & jump jets (double jump)
Mechagnome Mech:
- (Ranged Dps spec) Features~ Photon cannon, Pulse grenades, Subzero blast.
- Looks like āLiberty Primeā from Fallout 3.
Vulpera Mech
- (Healer spec) Features~ Heal spray, Micro barrier, Energy Zapper (brez)
- Fox themed Mech, Has tail.
Etcā¦ Iād do more but I gotta recharge my power cells.

Iād rather see them add more gray items for vendor trash to the game before any development on Tinkers.
Dragonflight is high fantasy and itās a success. Kick steampunk to the curb. The greater population did not want a bunch of pandas and they certainly donāt want a bunch of diaper gnomes in megaman outfits.
Iād rather be forced to do the community feast which is quite possibly the worst thing ever made in the entire gaming industry in the last 20 years than to have to witness Tinker characters in rusted armor blasting lasers around town like WoW is some kind of Walmart version of Fallout 76. Get off my lawn.
Give us anything EXCEPT for tinkers!
- Viable ranged Unholy DK talent choice nodes for Necromancy
- A real Gilneas and new home for the Night Elves!
- Alliance-controlled Lordaeron
- Class themed armor instead of raid themed armor
- Class specific quests
- Torghast 2.0 but with no player power
- Paladin Auras that are actually cool instead of āraid buff you never noticeā
- Give MotW 4 toes on its icon. Seriously what is this 3 toed creature, the buff over our heads even has 4 toes when cast. For reals go look.
- Dragonflying mechanics for older mounts in older zones!
- More transmogs!
- White items that arent vendor trash that fill up our bags and weāre never quite sure we can sell them! More of that would be good as long as it takes away resources from worse ideas like Tinkers.

Imagine playing WoW and having no idea what Tinker esthetic is like. Just look at the king himself, Geblin. This chad makes his cinematic debut in legion with an epic mech suit fight and continued strong into BfA with impactful narrative beats.
Rusty Fallout 76? No, certainly not entirely. Tinker themes can range from Draenei Artificers to Goblin Sappers. Yes Mechagnomes have a grungy rust esthetic but also polished gold and steel.
WoW is is rich with āWarCRAFTā machinery and technology. Itās a shame that we as players canāt fully embody the tech narrative as a playable class.
Engineering=/=Meaningful gameplay or narrative.

Have you never once taken a look at either goblin or gnomish culture? This stuff has been a part of warcraft since WC3, and perhaps earlier though I never played those games personally to say for sure. There was a Tinker hero in Frozen Throne which is why people have wanted one in WoW to begin with.
Pandaren were even less established than Tinker stuff and they got an entire race, class, and expansion based off of them. There is no legitimate reason Tinker canāt or shouldnāt be a class. Theyāre more worthy than Evokers, at the very least.
