Is it me the only one who needs to remove the tabard or shoulders on the wardrobe when trying a new mog because there’s no hide option there?
I think this would be a little detail that would be a big quality of life improvement.

It’s actually an option.
Right click the slot.
Mmm from the Wardrobe? (Not when you’re transmogging on the Transmog mount/Ethereal).
I don’t see this option.
The only option for it right now is indeed always need to remove it. Thats why I mostly use No tabard transmog XD. Joking. I just dont like them most of the time
He’s talking about when you are using the Collections/Appearances in concert with the Dressing Room. He’s not talking about transmog.
Unless you have some kind of addon, right clicking a piece of gear (you can’t rclick the slot cause there’s no slot in the dressing room) just gives you the options of Set Favorite, Cancel, and selecting the gear.
OP - yes, I agree. This is badly needed.
I agree. There are plenty of times I would like to be able to hide a slot while previewing transmog appearances in the wardrobe.
All I can say is I agree, theres no workaround besides just taking it off in your character pane. And its hard to make outfits using this. I try to when theres no transmog around and then I realize I have a bunch of gear I need to take off to save the outfit.
I know this is old, and sorry to necro, but just in case you didn’t find a workaround and/or someone else needs one,
What I do is go to the transmogger and Hide every piece of armor and save the look as “Nude.” Then if I like control click to check the appearance of something, in the Dressing Room you can change to that outfit, and then you see the piece a bit better
It’s a long work around when they could just have the option to hide stuff in the dressing room haha. But it works …
MOSTLY … because you can hide every piece of armor except pants But I don’t find Pants really obscure anything anyways, so i’m not too bothered
