Add tcg loot to trading post

I personally think this would be a great idea. We can all agree that fomo sucks, and that it isn’t 2004 anymore.
I don’t believe it’s fair to make things in an mmo unobtainable, I believe it’s very toxic and that everyone should have a shot at getting any item that they want.
I know many people will feel some type of way about this but I know that many can also agree with me. There are those who are just getting into WoW and discovering their love for mounts/cosmetics and are avid collectors who missed out on so many items that were removed from the game/ no longer obtainable. Let’s work together to change this. Lets give the people a chance at spectral tigers, Zulian tigers, and all other items that are unobtainable now.
For blizzard/MS there is loads of money to be made here. HELP me out people

They specifically said that the reward would include “cosmetics from promotions that are no longer available” so I would very much expect to see TCG stuff in there right away.

That’s great! I hope that mounts are included.

Sure but my fear is what do you need to do and how long to get enough to purchase these items in game. I have a sinking feeling they are gonna turn this into a [pay 2.99 for loot boxes and get more currency]

It’d love to see some glad mounts from there. So many beautiful mounts that are just so exclusive you almost never see.

A lot of the items from the picture we got were around 750, so the free 500 and a little bit of playing to get another 250 would get you a mount or item set.

Also there’s the option to “save” something so it doesn’t expire so you can get it the next month if you don’t have enough.

There’s no point in getting mad about things that haven’t happened.

Also the sword, shield, and staff from the legion movie promotions please.

No one is getting mad? They’re rightfully worried that a company with a lot of monetization might monetize something easily monetizable.

Why? Who cares? It can still be earned in game.

Because as Blizzard has done, when people pay more then get better looking stuff. Look at store mounts vs most normal mounts earned. Same with transmogs added to the store, the in-game usually aren’t as good. There would be an incentive to buy the currency but if you can earn it, why buy? The bigger incentive would be going the standard battle pass route and selling a premium version of the trading post.

In it’s current form it’s awesome and good. How long until Activision breathes down Blizzard’s neck and they want to monetize it?

Sorry, but that’s complete opinion and not a fact.

To me, there are better mounts in game than in the store. And it’s also a bad argument, because any cosmetic on the store can be bought using in game gold.

“Blizzard would never sell mounts!”
Blizzard starts selling mounts.

“Blizzard only sells cosmetics! They’d never sell level boosts!”
Blizzard starts selling level boosts.

“Earn your gold! Blizzard doesn’t want people paying real money for gold!”
Blizzard starts selling gold.

“It’s classic, they won’t sell level boosts!”
They started selling a level boost.

Tell me again how there’s no chance that blizzard would monetize this easily monetized system…

I’ve played a ton of MMOs and f2p games. That’s the exact reason for the worry it will be monetized, LIKE EVERY OTHER MMO WITH SIMILAR SYSTEM.

Your boot, sir. I’m sure blizzard will never do anything to monetize anything. All those other times they monetized were just one-off situations.

Hard NO.
Absolutely not. You didn’t play PvP in that season, with those people, under those circumstances; you don’t get their R1 mounts.

Thank the gods Blizz recently said they’ll not do this, despite them adding old things again.
