give scroll that costs 5g that adds +25 to a profession up to 225 (last phase cap) “writings of an expert blacksmith” or something.
with incursions the only people farming actual crafting materials are the bots. gonna make hand over fist gouging the player base who are just going to end up buying gold instead of grinding incursions like a 2nd job to be able to afford raid consumes.
also facilitates swapping of profs for players as changes are made to the game actively and the meta shifts. Something I know will make some players mad but would be a huge change for SoD.
Endless loop of not-dailies putting endless gold into circulation is only going to push the casuals out of the game. (I have 17 total days played on this paladin that I rerolled for phase 2)
also- i am content with my BS/enchanting and this is not an ask for personal crafting benefit at least on the main. I am legitimately concerned for the welfare of the economy of the game.
Prices have sky rocketed today due to the announcement of the AH,Mail, and Trade restrictions on new accounts. RMT gold sellers are scrambling to create a supply of gold to sell due to them soon not being able to sell for a month (maybe even longer).
This along with general supply/demand due to early phase spiked the price TODAY. Yesterday my Heavy Leather was selling for about 2 silver per Leather…just now it sold for like 55 silver per leather.
I thought someone might’ve artificially inflated the price by buying all the leather up to that point then inflated the price…but it now makes sense with the announcement they made today.
Yea the only reason I say this is strictly from personal experience with the AH over the past few days. My stack of heavy leather wasn’t selling for anything yesterday (2 silver per leather). But all of a sudden for some random reason today it was selling for 55 silver per leather…which is completely unheard of. I’ve never seen it spike this much throughout all of Phase 1 or Phase 2…this tells me something else is going on and it just so happens that these spikes came on the day they announced that crackdown on bots.
