I don’t think an addon ban is planned, no.
Then how will you keep track of the countless cooldowns in the game? Are you dare suggesting players learn and know that themselves (Like in League)?

It would P.O. the last two hundred PvPers that exist but they should probably just rework PvP so you don’t need addons to tell what’s going on or why you died.
League/Dota/Deadlock are complicated but at least they’re (usually) readable.

I can see some addons if they somehow disrupt the game…but something like Farmhud? I used it to keep track of my mates in group content. No reason for it to be banned
They really should at least ban addons from their esports it might actually be interesting to see if the top players can do as well without the added trackers
No. Fix things like base UI buff/debuff filtering on self and partymates FIRST. Can’t even start a discussion about banning addons until then. Real tired of seeing these topics pop up by geniuses who never have to think about dispelling CC too.
If you want to block something in PVP, make enemy information unavailable. Get that out of the combat log and it fixes 99% of the problem.

I think people who are all “hurrrrrr ban all addons” think that if they were playing the game with 0 addons they’d have a level playing field.
no. the good players are still going to play circles around the not-as-good players.
and I suspect the players calling for addon bans aren’t the good ones, so ya’ll still going to get outplayed.

Addons are informational.
Do your parents not allow to install things on their computer that they don’t understand?
Addons are fairly instrumental to the game at this point. I’d argue if anything heavily populated ones should just be incorporated as part of the game these days.
