where is the add on button/ I have reset multiple times . it is not on start up screen. please help
The button will only show up if you have addons properly installed. So, if you run addon free, you won’t have the button. For retail wow, addons should be in World of Warcraft/retail/Interface/AddOns.
If you manually download and install addons, some of them are actually inside the download folder. If you don’t see a .lua file when you open the download folder, then it’s the folders inside the download folder you need to move over into Addons.
