Cooking was at its peak in MoP. Some mop food still gives better stats than some shadowlands food, despite requiring level 27 or 32.

if you stack 2 lasagnas together, is it still 2 lasagnas or 1 big lasagna?
MoP was the only time I enjoyed gathering ingredients for cooking. Not just the garden / farm. Fishing was fun. Gathering meats never felt like it took forever.
