No not m+ just the normal Mythic dungeons. And give us Luck of the Draw to boot as a buff to help us rando players out. Then we can take that loot and step it up to low M+ keys if we want with decent ilevel we get from that and maybe Delves.
Game used to be far more chill and I don’t want to tryhard at all really most of the time.
Yeah I think it needs to happen. I want to be able to chill and just rando queue and ‘feel’ like I can make some progress doing another thing for once.
This defeats the point though. M0 is supposed to be a point where failures cause wipes (In appropriate gear for the content) and mechanics have to be respected. Buffing players to the point those things are no longer the case means they don’t actually learn or become prepared for harder content, you just make the jump even more jarring.
I’d say it’s fine as things will still hit hard enough to matter. I think it’ll be a good stepping stone and be forgiving enough to be worth doing. Besides many seemed to skip this step almost entirely and went from T8 Delves straight into low keys right? Or even +4 right away? Might as well have a far more accessible form of Mythics that introduce the player to the Mythic mechanics.
Nah heroics are vastly more enjoyable and patient than normals are. Nobody is just trying to crank out the next level and some are actually interested in seeing mechanics they never saw in normal.
Makes the whole thing a lot more chill imo. Normals/TW are the WoW equivalent of a stinging rash.
Meh that’s fine it’s not even good loot anyway. If they want the challenging version they can do it organized. I think honestly this would be a great change for the dungeon finder.
The problem with your idea, to which the buff is just a symptom, is player expectation. There is a tacit expectation amongst the player base that queued content is unfailable. There are circumstances where it might take a few wipes to stack a buff to overcome the content, but so long as you don’t leave, you will get to the end.
Given the nature of keystones, having M+ be the first time players reach a mode which lacks this expectation would be a disaster. Players need to understand that dungeons at that level, much like all raids above LFR, can finish uncompleted. There is no guarantee you will reach the shiny at the end if your group isn’t capable of defeating the content. I highly doubt the player base in general would accept if queued content could end in failure; that’s why Blizzard has gone out of their way to ensure the queued content is either easy enough to not be failable at all or have mechanics to reward failure with buffs to eventually make it unfailable.
