It could be nice to have new dungeons and raids for the Caverns of Time without connections to the main story.
Please keep in mind it’s only to have dungeons and raids like “Battle for Mount Hyjal” + “Opening the Dark Portal” + “Escape from Durnholde Keep” + “Culling of Stratholme” and not like the other ones (“End Time” + “Hour of Twilight” + “Well of Eternity” + “Dragon Soul”).
The goal here is to have dungeons and raids to relive important events in the Warcraft franchise as we can do it with “Battle for Mount Hyjal” or “Culling of Stratholme”. So it’s only for fun and to have a good time. No connections with the main story.
We could have 2 ways for that:
- Players go back in time to take part in this historic event (Battle for Mount Hyjal + Culling of Stratholme)
- Agents of the infinite dragonflight take part in this event (Opening the Dark Portal + Escape from Durnholde Keep + Culling of Stratholme - in a way -)
And here are what we could have as dungeons or raids:
- Aqir and Troll War (Amani Trolls side) => Amani slain the C’Thrax Kith’ix
- Lei Shen invades Uldum (Tol’vir side) => Tol’vir defeat Lei Shen
- The Sundering of the World (Night Elves side) => Malfurion Stormrage stops Azshara and her supporters about the Well of Eternity
- War of the Satyr (Night Elves side) => Ralaar kills Xalan the Feared
- Troll Wars (Humans from the kingdom of Arathor and High Elves of Quel’Thalas side) => Humans and High Elves defeat the Amani trolls
- War of the Shifting Sands (Night Elf side) => Night elves seal C’Thun and the qiraji within Ahn’Qiraj
- Gurubashi War (Humans side) => Llane and his party slain Jok’non
- Battle of Hillsbrad Foothills (Alliance side) => Anduin Lothar and the Alliance fight the Horde
- Durnholde Keep (Horde side) => Orgrim Doomhammer freeds Zul’jin
- Siege of Blackrock Spire (Alliance side) => Alliance against the Horde in the Battle of Blackrock
- Invasion of Draenor (Alliance side) => The Sons of Lothar invade Draenor/Khadgar closes the Dark Portal from his side
- Fall of Quel’Thalas (Scourge side) => Arthas Menethil attacks Quel’Thalas to resurrect Kel’Thuzad
- Siege of Theramore (Horde side) => Thrall and Rexxar defeat Daelin Proudmoore at Theramore
