This isn’t the glowing endorsement for LFD that you think it is.
It was never meant to be.
LFD has it’s problems, like the reason vote kick exists.
But the benefits far out weigh the negatives

LFD solved many issues and introduced very few. My proposal is far more gamer friendly than even the original LFD because there is still an element of social activity available and doesn’t QOL the game to death.
The barrier to entry to dungeons in the game today is antigamer and needs to be reviewed.
The barrier to entry is created BY gamers.

I like this take on it. The automation can have problems so it would still be nice to see better group controls in this regard.

We have no LFD now and i can promise you the conversation is light if not none, and there is no socialization out of it… can LFD possibly be worse? whose to say.

And? How do you change the behavior of gamers? Or more expanded, how do you change the behavior of a community of people?
By letting a community police itself. The way we did for 5 years before LFD was released.
Ostracize toxic players and ninjalooters. Turn them into pariahs or barring that, you personally can make note of their behaviors and refuse to interact with them on any level.

You don’t change your game (like removing things from LFD to please anti-lfd people) to try and fix anything.
Are you serious? Have you read the “hall of shame” channel on the bene discord? There are 30,000 people on the server. At least 20 posts a week of ninja-ing and other issues.
Who in the world can possibly keep track of all of that. How am i supposed to remember the thousand people who ended up on that channel? And what if i dont follow that channel every minute of every day, ill miss some of the posts.
That whole community garbage worked really well when we had 1k - 2k person servers… these are 30k RAIDERS on a single server, nevermind all the people who dont log, or dont raid. How in the world are you supposed to remember who is good and who isnt… not possible. Living in the ultimate fantasy land my guy.
