Add ilvl to inspect interface

It would be nice to see another players item level (and pvp item level) when we inspect them. It would make a quick comparison much easier, as opposed to scrolling through someone’s armor each time.

I agree but I’m blown away as to the fact you’re still inspecting peoples gear in-game like it’s 2005 lol
Hell, I don’t even see my party members until I’m already in the instance

I mostly just do it when I’m waiting for a battleground, looking at people’s gear.
For fun

I see it thanks to ElvUI.

I inspect people’s gear when I do most group content so I can see if they need the piece of gear that I don’t

I know it’s not Blizz standard UI, which is what you’re looking for, but you can do that with TipTac Reborn. Can also see their scores and spec, too.

It’d be better to not need an addon for that.

Somehow, Gear Score returned.

I had a feeling it was a thing before, maybe in MoP? Why was it removed?

Sure, but I use ElvUI not just because of that. Even after the updates to the user interface beginning in Shadowlands, it is still miles behind what ElvUI is capable of even as far back as Warlords of Draenor when I first started using it.

It never left.

I use an addon for this. I think is called “simple item level” or something I forget. It basically puts someone’s ilvl in the box you get when you hover or click on another player. Sometimes it needs a few clicks before it is able to pull the data it needs from the other player though. A consequence of cross realm sharding.

probably made by gnomes or something

You can check the entire group at once using details.

Excweese me sir, but gnomes do not make faulty products! Only gobbos are known for their shoddy workmanship!

gear score never went anywhere

I made an addon that helps with this and released it recently named Quick Item Level. Mainly just to help when raid leading pugs but its helpful for any group content or just to see where most players are at in town after a patch cycle out of curiosity.

really I would just want 1 decimal point

Thank you. A year later today, your recommendation to try Tip Tac Reborn was just what I was looking for!!
