Add dungeon set pieces to the real vendor

Please add purchasable dungeon set pieces to the real vendor. I’ve ran Strat live 22 times now without a single pair of Lightforge Boots dropping. 22 runs, over the last 2 days and not a single drop. From 1pm to 3am, 14 hours straight of farming Strat Live and nothing.

I can’t even progress through my tier 0.5 questline without them and they refuse to drop.

I got some Lightforged Boots yesterday, along with Shadowcraft braces, shoulders and legs all in the same run

A vendor to skip grinding?

Retail is that way bro :point_right:

These people are insane.

Do you remember when people said the slippery slope wasn’t real?

a vendor that you… have to grind dungeons…to get the currency, to buy the item… I’m okay with this. Make it 100 real, is that enough grind?

Well, i don’t believe in slippery slope.

Simply because we all have different ideas of what “retail” is.

Going and getting the item to drop out of a dungeon is enough of a grind.

I don’t think its much to expect that after maybe 30 runs you could probably be able to buy an item off a vendor.

well he ran it 22 times. each dungeon generally drops 5 real. that would be 100 real. do you think thats enough grind?

Slippery slope isn’t a fallacy. It’s a strategy.

Item didn’t drop.

So no, not quite enough.

He actually only ran it 4 times. He’s just saying 22 because he’s upset.

well SoD isnt classic. I think most people would be okay with a bad luck protection system during the remainder of the season. Go to era when you wanna run Naxx for months to get your item that you might not get because someone else won it. or bought more gold to pay for it. era isnt perfect either.

haha oh yeah we forgot about that pesky GDKP on ERA where you know, you spend money in order to have your bad luck protection

I wouldnt know i didnt do those i never have gold wah wah im sad

I would be 100% ok with the tier 0 sets being sold by the Real vendor. It actually makes a lot of sense too. Have them cost anywhere from like 50-100 tokens depending on the piece. Maybe 50-60 for Bracers/Waist and up to 100 for the bigger pieces.

It wouldn’t remove the grind, just change it from running the same dungeon over and over hoping you get lucky and your piece drops. To running any dungeon that gives Reals so you can save up enough to buy them. It gives a tangible end to the grind, and not “I hope i get lucky so i can go do something else”. Running the same dungeon over and over again is mind numbing and boring.

As much as i appreciate a luck based grind, people have lives and there is so much content to do now that I don’t want to spend all my time grinding one dungeon just to get one that one piece that’s essentially gatekeeping my upgrade quest chain. Not to mention the Weapon/Ring/Neck/Trinkets would still be that luck based grind (depending on what you’re going for).

Like Zerkermode said, it would essentially be a bad luck protection system so that people don’t have to spend hours upon hours grinding out one dungeon. Instead they would spend hours upon hours grinding out Reals in different dungeons.

great response my thoughts exactly. its just SoD this isnt the holy virgin classic era were talking about (which ironicaly does have bad luck protection like i gave the example of GDKP)

It would definitely break up the monotony and incentivize helping others through different dungeons.
