Add Cross faction grouping

While blizzard is making all these good changes, can we also get cross faction grouping in 9.1.5? Nothing too fancy just let me able to invite my friends regardless of their faction. Make lfg cross faction in instances.

I am completely against this.

I don’t want any filthy Goldshire RPers in my M+ groups.

I am fine with instance-only friends-list-only cross-grouping. This way, you can play with friends and it won’t effect anything out in the “world”.

I’m also cool with merc moding but I can see how that might cause some issue.

It’s cute that you think we care about M+.

I am completely for this.

Factions are tired and worthless.

You don’t care because nobody invites you in their group.

I do not apply for the group in the first place! Saves me time.

If I want to do the dungeon or raid, normals and LFR exist  All I have to do is press a button and I’m guaranteed a spot in a group!

Yes please. Let me play the race I want with my friends.

If I can spend my time as a horde character saving Jaina Proudmoore and even have friendly dialogue with Tyrande, I should be able to pick Alliance characters I want to play with, too.

I looked at your profile and I don’t think I’m gonna argue with you, especially if that’s your main. I’m not shaming you btw I’m just saying that you look like you play the game very casually.

I’m definitely for cross-faction PvE. I would love if they could add this so I could play with more of my friends.

Nah you’re right, I don’t do much of M+

And I’m saying you probably won’t have to worry about any other Moonshire folk applying to your M+ groups, we don’t usually care about that stuff

You’d be surprised how many people play this game casually.

Maybe we could reach a compromise.

How about an event that allow us to do cross-faction grouping for a week or something? It could happen every two months, just to test the water and see how things go.

Wasn’t that kind of his point?

No.

Ranked pvp yes, PvE no. No reason for it, too many reasons against it. Want to experience the game with friends, roll appropriate faction toons and experience a new side of the game.

Nah. Lemme bring my gnome monk into my horde guild.

I don’t care if I’m allowed in Orgrimmar with it, I just want to play with my friends AND play the race that I enjoy the most.

Play the race you want without arbitrary restrictions?
Have a single player pool for group content instead of being arbitrarily divided?

Such as?

There are a lot of reasons for it. Also, lots of people have friends on both factions and it’s currently an either/or situation. Or maybe they want to play a race that isn’t in their current faction without having to start completely over, leaving behind characters they’ve poured years into (without also spending a ridiculous amount of real life money for transfers).

What are your “so many reasons against it?”

Also, no one serious about raiding/M+ is going stick with Alliance as the pool of available players is significantly smaller.
