I think this is good. I didn’t. After playing with countless lemmings, it’s good. Let them learn there. Let them chains adds to melee on Morchie there. Let them as the tank, soak the ranged orb mechanic on Deios there. Let them run around like chickens with their heads cutoff there.
Please let them do AI up to 14’s to learn every mechanic before torturing me.
That was very clear in the OP too.
In full agreement with you there.
I’m all for it then.
Nothing wrong with allowing others to learn differently.
So… You can’t see it with stuff happening because it doesn’t hurt as bad… but you’d be able to see it with stuff happening if it looks exactly the same but hits harder?
Sounds like a concentration issue.
Precisely the goal. You’ll experience less torture and people can learn without pressure.
no
thats what like +2-+5s are for
1+ no more m+ booster ![]()
if they add ai raids that be op too ( nvm they have premade ._.)
I love the idea of running instances with AI groups. This is a game changer! I hope they expand on this beyond just normal dungeons.
This would be nice, especially if you could set up checkpoints in the run and restart from checkpoints to practice a pull as much as you want.
I’m a little embarrassed I didn’t think of this! So something that just resets you to full health & respawns you at the boss instead of doing the run of shame? I like it.
YouTube videos should not be required for viewing for learning game content. They are, but they should not be.
Its valid suggestion, in lieu of anything else in-game, that can help players learn mechanics.
Luckily they have a dungeon journal with very descriptive abilities.
It even shows what tanks/healers/dps are supposed to be wary of when fighting them.
It even shows you which abilities are dangerous
Problem with low keys is that you can ignore a mechanic entirely that will stonewall a run on a 15+ if done incorrectly.
So many groups are busting ph 1 ozumat instead of correctly doing ink pools.
I learn more by doing. I think others do too, even if I watched a video. Those video’s also use terminology that takes time to learn only by doing. If you get my meaning? Just a possible answer. At least it might get some of us who hesitate to at least put one foot in the door to see if were interested enough to keep learning. Maybe not as I haven’t tried.
Those take hours to remember everything, and even then without actually doing anything theres no muscle/brain synchronization to work with - just words.
I guess I’m saying all this because I’ve been curious and have wanted to try for a long time.
They’re literal sentences…each boss has like 3 abilities and they’re summarized in 1-2 sentences.
It does not take hours to memorize them.
You read them, you get some sort of idea, remember the one shot BS blizzard puts in and you gain experience by doing then.
You’ve always had the option too, not every group is toxic, not every run is going to make you feel uneasy.
You can even start your own group and title it “learning bear with me”.
I’m not against the learner system at all.
It seems like a good idea.
But some people are swinging real hard to convince themselves that it’s not possible without AI…
I understand. Maybe someday I’ll give it a shot. I only thought, at least with an AI I can’t embarrass myself - even if there’s friendlies out there, lol
Honestly…
The community is rough when it comes to first timers and I understand that.
I’m happy AI is coming for that audience and it’ll be great.
I apologize if you had some horrible team mates when you tried to step in.
I wish the community was a bit more compassionate to be fair.
And to be fair, I’d have to spend more time researching than I have. Thank you
As long as the AI followers are not like the ones in the HPally class quests, it’s all good.
That one dude bro AI needed to chill the hell out on saying, “tooommmmbbbbbb” every five seconds.
