since you are constantly changing M+ rules and philosophy to not be complicated and be fun, also might as well add a threat redirect to every class.
it’s not fun sitting afk as paladin 5 seconds into the fight waiting for tank to gain aggro.
if you’re after making M+ “fun”, add misdirect to every class too.
I mean at that point you might as well just make threat 100% so tanks can never lose it to begin with.

As long as tanks get it as well so I can redirect everything to that one dps who keeps facepulling everything cuz they forgot to turn their monitor on

Half the fun of my opener is taking aggro and making the tank scramble.
great idea let’s do that, might as well with their new m+ philosophy
Isn’t that how it already is?
No, you can still pull aggro if you have a chunky, bursty opener, or if your tank is just garbage lol.
I wish, I run with a prot pally who will constantly have issues in larger pulls because his shield doesn’t bounce to everything.

Last time I personally had issues was the Murlocs in Tazavesh last expansion. Some dps specs just go all out with big pulls and target caps can be a bit iffy.
I’m sure it’s still possible with great dpsers but I’m not playing at that level currently.
Most of the time if I do lose threat it’s because someone planted their feet and started attacking the first mob I threw a keg at while on my way to pull several others.
If you’re playing a paladin you literally have an aggro redirect, it’s called Divine shield. Heck you can even have 2, Blessing of Protection.
Some ret paladins I’ve seen openly try to pull aggro on the rip to trigger their shield of vengeance (I respect the moxie, though a good number of them explode before bubbling in time, which is always a good laugh).

I always redirect or misdirect to a healer. Just to keep things fun!
You know that means they are going to nerf tank aggro a lot … and relying on dps for that is a gamble I don’t think most tanks want to make

Oh boy, they could unprune blessing of salvation! Less threat for everyone!
Am I in the wrong here, or is taking MD a waste of a talent for anything end game? I always thought it was a solo only thing.
Never experinced this,
besides “scramble”? I get what I get, if I didnt get something, its not really my problem is it.
Though in the dungeons which I play, people usually have common goal to time it, not to ruin it for each other.
It’s usually pretty niche. Unless it’s on the way to something important, you might skip it if you don’t have a special purpose in mind. From memory current rogue builds can fit it in but current hunter builds might skip it if they can. I could be wrong.
When it is useful it’s great, though. If it’s a melee heavy meta then it can help on big pulls if you’re blasting. If it’s a caster/ranged meta like now I think it’s less useful? Do ranged still output less threat than melee these days?
My experience in wotlk taught me that it’s always worth it to conspire with your brothers and sisters through a private chat channel to all coordinate your tricks usage to get people killed if they get complacent or braggadocious.

MD is pretty cool but it doesn’t work for pet aggro which makes it way way worse for bm hunters in group content.

Ah, there we go. I do nothing but BM hunter so I was confused lol.
Calm down, dude.
I pop double Lust in my opener, take aggro for 3 seconds, take a hit, get a funny remark from the tank, laugh. Simple as.
And the award for the worst idea of the day, easily won, is this one posted right here!
Congratulations
