This way the super exciting gameplay everyone loves can be trained for even earlier, but doing it in time boosts your vault reward and maybe crests and stuff.
And perhaps even an optional affix for Heroic to train you earlier for the first affix in M+ with better rewards too.
I think they should add them to leveling dungeons as well. Also, add timers to quests, if failed the timer you have to do the quest again. Git Gud and GOGOGOGOGOGOGOGOOGOOOOOO
I think since Hardcore classic is so popular our characters maybe getting deleted could also be very engaging gameplay! Don’t make the timer? Relevel!
Rather than a timer, I would like if dungeons had an “Enemy Forces” counter toggle so groups can practice routing. You can always time yourself outside of game if you want to improve that.
I think M+ should be separated out into its own game mode like Plunderstorm then Blizz can turn it into the esport they really want it to be. Make Normal/heroic dungeons important parts of retail again once it is gone.
I think they could do this but also add in a bit of progression into it like they did with Wrath or Cata Classic in which they can be attuned higher if you’d like. Leave it in the communities purview if they’d like to add their own timed leaderboard for them tracked on a different website that’s 3rd party. If you want to participate in that community you download the associated addons for it and walla community created solutions, which in my opinion is smarter.
And on top of that they could also have the Esports M+ option perhaps.
You don’t need it. Any group can agree to a time limit and if they don’t make it they all agree to quit the dungeon. Either that or they limit what rewards they take at the end.
This only works if you think that the only function of Heroic is to prepare people for Mythic +, and that just isn’t the case.
Sure, it’s World of M+ now… but there are surprisingly large number of people who simply cap out at Heroic, WQ’s, and Delves. Those people - the least competitive - deliberately avoid anything resembling a timer.
I mean… it doesn’t make sense to me, personally… but they’re out there, and they pay a sub fee.
