Blizzard, the queues are basically at a standstill. Why don’t you add a maximum play time for maybe the next few weeks, . What you could have is say every 2 hours you will get disconnected and thrown to the back of the queue. This way everybody gets to at least see some of the game in this very busy time.
As it stands people who have taken time off to be able to play, login during the quiet hours of the day and have no queue time and then spend 12+ hours straight playing the game. Meanwhile, players such as myself go to work during the day, come home and queue at peak, sit in the queue for several hours and give up and go to bed. Doesn’t seem very fair, or in the spirit of the game. I’m paying the same amount of money as the next person yet I’m not actually able to even play unless I put my real life responsibilities on hold.

I feel like they should be monitoring certain behaviors. The people who run into walls or whatever and never log off are the big culprits. They should be knocked offline regularly.
They are creating the problem they are trying to avoid by never logging out

Really need that downvote button back. Holy hell it’s not even Sunday.

If I can’t have it, nobody can.
That kind of mentality.

I wanted to reply constructively but on second thought I can’t tell if this is a joke or not

I have to wait in the queue when i get off work. Just get over it. Your 15 bucks isn’t any better than someone else’s 15 bucks. It’ll balance out

There’s no way Blizzard would cap play time. Make an alt, play somewhere else for a bit.

Actually, this would kill the queues pretty well. All these afk eating spots… I mean, why not at this point.

Or they can just have enough servers. Why does this have to be a problem, every time they release something?

This post isn’t a joke, and If you actually read it instead of replying a knee jerk response off the heading you’ll understand what I’m saying. If there was a time limit on an account and your placed back in queue, this would almost kill or dramatically shorten the queues for everybody. You could play in as many 2hr (or whatever time frame it was set at) windows of play in a day as you want however to let everybody have a go you have to spend your share of time in the queue as well.
My brother now has well over 1 day /played meanwhile anybody who has not taken time off is lucky if they’ve even been able to login yet.
I figure the random disconnects is helping with the queue’s as far as knocking off those parked running into walls etc to prevent logging out. As inconveniencing as it is, at least I can log right back in.
IF they were to limit my playtime to 2 hours and send me to the back of a queue line, you can bet your last dollar that is when I WILL start raising holy you know what, except it won’t be too holy. Fastest way I can see for blizzard to kill it’s own game. Faster even than the RealID fiasco if you want my opinion.
Look, I get your frustration, I really do. But if you are on a server with a queue that is taking forever, MOVE. Make an alt on another server that you can get on, there are some. Stop being so darn hardheaded about the one you got first. (Not you in particular, but anyone complaining and not moving).
Meanwhile, good on you for keeping your real life responsibilities in check, and going to work like you should. I on the other hand, don’t have that issue, and have the “luxury” of staying home all day and can play when and however long I want. It’s a small price to pay for how I managed to get all this free time. I’d be happy to trade places with you.

Didn’t some japanese MMO try something like that? Capped players from playing too much/
In middle of a dungeon run… bam dced. In middle of a cave that spawns so frequently if you stop you die, log back in 3 mobs attack. So many bad situation can arise

I’m not saying that because I can’t login that nobody should be able to login, quite the opposite. I’m suggesting that everybody should have a chance at playing and sitting in the queue, not just people who logged in during off peak and have sat their character on run against a wall while they slept.
Weird that ive logged on 6 different times then and have only seen a queue longer then 10 minutes 2 hours after launch (wanted to get back on to hearth but wasnt worth it). Its almost like you picked a server they said “move off of or youll have 6-8 hour queues”.

I play on Oceanic, they only gave us 1 PvP and 1 PvE server which they have now added a few more. The problem is now all my friends are playing on that single original PvP server, if I now go and play on one of these new servers I can never play with any of my friends, or, I have to create an alt that I’ll end up throwing in the bin within a few weeks anyway because the queues will end up dying down.
Blows kazoo Nooooooooooooo~
