I recall reading about how other MMOs have mentor systems. The basic idea is to provide incentives for players to teach new or inexperienced players the ropes.
The arena community desperately needs this. Imagine if you would get a special title or mount or pet or in game currency boost for helping a new player.
Right now the best we have is people effectively doing RMT by offering arena boosts to people who follow or sub to their twitch channel……

Sooooooo, Blizzard sponsored boosting? Lol
These in game systems generally go unused.
Most players really don’t care.
These days there’s a million free resources out there to learn a game inside and out. Twitch/YouTube/discord
Any game I’ve played with mentor system just means there’s an extra chat box for trolling

Best thing i would would say is find a guild/community that is Friendly and Willing to help teach people the ropes.
Mounts/Titles would be one and done, or exploited like every other aspect of the game that hands out rewards.
it’d have to be pushed hard by blizz when introduced
like the in game voice chat is another feature that’s actually really solid and has great audio quality, but was pretty bad at launch and has been forgotten since.
Dota 2 has in game coaching/mentorship and its used to good effect.
Blizz would have to incorporate some sort of spectator or in game recording for it to get any mileage tho
