Acuity catch up

Can we please get some sort of acuity catch up mechanic?

Some free acuity each week like DF’s “Show Your Mettle” would be nice as well.

You get knowledge catchup, which makes acuity.

You also get acuity from patron quests. But, if you don’t farm them everyday, I don’t think there is a catch up for it.

This matters since some recipes cost a lot of acuity to buy and/or craft.

So far the amount of Acuity I’ve gotten have let me buy most of my LW/JC recipes, 3 of the 4 10 kp for JC/LW and 3 satchels of ore (600 acuity each) which two gave me order and the other a recipe i already had. I also have all 6 of my rare tools made. I say there’s a lot of ways to get this even without breaking the bank because I can see the same thing for my warrior with Enchanting/BS and not making many of the BS patron orders because of lack of alloy materials. I was able to get the rare tools for my BS besides enchanting, all recipes for BS and buy 3 satchels of ore…I really wanted the Jewelry setting since it wasn’t dropping from Silken Court.

How have you been farming acuity?

I haven’t been farming it besides I quick log on looking at the patron orders and deciding if I should do it or not…you get two new orders per day per profession that has acuity and sometimes a third for a catch up kp (5 acuity). Then every four days, you should have 8-9 patron orders…2-3 kp for 2kp each (20-30 acuity), a 30 acuity order and then 2 regular 10 acuity orders. There are other orders, but that for the main stat buff crystal and those I don’t even look at that much. I hold two professions so when the 4 day patron orders happen, I get 60 for the double 30, 50 for kp, 40 for regular orders and then up to 40 acuity each other day. This does not include the weekly quest of doing orders…which suck.

Yeah, so it generally seems “enough” if people have been farming it like that from the beginning.

But, for people who are starting late, or if you have alts, they have been missing weeks of acuity from patron orders. I don’t think there is currently a way to make up for that.
