Roar of sacrifice should only require pet LoS, not both.
Explosive trap should have 0 arm time if it’s a knock back (Like it was in mop/wod, It was fine in legion because it was actually a damaging ability)
Carve as an aoe spell is fundamentally flawed, because it relies on guerilla tactics to even be worth pressing. Just replace it with butchery or buff it in some way, maybe make it so… the more targets you hit… the more damage your bombs will do? I feel like there are a lot of things you could do with it, but at the moment, it just feels awful to press.

Chakrams/Flanking strikes needs some utility to be even usable (root/slow maybe)
Latent poison as a talent, maybe to replace mongoose bite?

BONUS ROUND: Tar trap should not take you out of camo if you toss it directly on someone, explosive trap/steel trap damage should take you out of camo. And if you summon your pet while in camo, its attacks should take you out of camo.

25 sec CD on freezing/tar trap. (In other expansions it’s been shorter than 30, but maybe not as insane as 12 seconds in WoD LMAO)
Some sort of hard hitting ability? Like flanking/explosive in legion. Or latent poison right now, maybe kill shot will fix this issue but idk, we’ll see. I was thinking of something like sticky bomb in legion, but it actually does dmg.

Yeah, as a survival hunter main Bicmex is a major inspiration for me and I trust his feedback. I don’t blindly trust it either, looking at his feedback is stuff ive wanted for a while.
I understand people want ranged survival, I want it too but at the same time im dealing with what we have and trying to make the most out of it.
Obviously im not posting on my main, I am kind of embarrassed at not wanting to pve to get pvp gear (hoping they fix in shadowlands) I know people like to attack others on here for ilvl score thinking it equates to knowledge of a spec, especially when most can just buy carries nowadays it clearly doesnt.
Ranting aside, I really hope they add mongoose bite baseline, the spec really needs it. I understand some people don’t like that playstyle but survival badly needs help here. I also really hope they add camo baseline as it would help alot with survival.
Definitely a decent wish list, that’s for sure. I’d really like to see a recall ability to have your pet be summoned next to you immediately (when it’s alive) so you can either get your pet healed up, or get rid of the pathing issues.
I could live with this if our pet rez doesn’t get reduced.
They weren’t bad, but in legion survival spec was messy. They turned it but it still needs work. If they want to keep melee survival they need to treat this entire spec as an actual melee class. Honestly they need to mix it with a warrior vibe and still keep hunter aspects. This class can literally be mixed with rogues, warriors and keeping hunter talents to make this work

I once had an idea for something like this. Replacing Muzzle with a skill called Tackle/Bump, ordering your pet to interrupt enemy casting. Otherwise you could just give surviva Countershot but with the hand crossbow.

This could work, but only if they change the pet system so that when one pet dies, you can call one of the other 4 pets left. This way you could change Revive Pet to an instant that rezzes all pets (sort of like how battle pet heal/rez works), justifying the 6 minute cooldown.
