People that work with women know this is true. Don’t have to hate women to have ears and listen to what they talk about when they are comfortable with everyone in the room. If you haven’t had the same experience, women are probably not comfortable when you’re around
What’s happening is more and more is that men and women are just outright refusing to interact with each other. In many cases, men won’t even train or discipline a woman unless several witnesses are present.
Everyone knows what the game is. They know folks like Wooppee are ready to swoop in at any moment and play the “hero.”
Those who pay have the most reason to complain don’t they? If I didn’t pay for the game, why would I care to complain about it?
No. Because you’re showing the company that you’re willing to pay them regardless of how much you complain. This isn’t rocket science.
So no one is right to make a complaint unless they cancel their sub? Ok
Just another day in the burgeoning American dystopia. Enjoy.
I’m currently in the process of still defending against Federal litigation for events that occurred involving my client nearly a decade ago. If you think “2 year investigation” means anything, I have many ocean-front properties to sell you that are all in Arizona.
Nope, it translates into “Hired someone without regard to their skill in order to check a demographic box.” I’ve already dealt with three separate clients who have asked my firm update its demographic information so we can be included on the list of “diverse” outside council. Corporations aren’t exactly super intelligent, but they are aware of how to have the basic CYA paper trail to ward off accusations about workplace diversity/discrimination.
If a woman is afraid of reprisal from people she signs checks for… that’s 90% likely a “her” problem, not a them problem. If a subordinate is acting out of line, you punish/fire them. The end.
It isn’t easy for anyone to come forward about sexual misconduct against them because people are scared, hurt, traumatized, and embarrassed to no end (just for starters).
totally agree
Haha!
Oh, wait, you’re serious.
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!
post your linked in lets see how much corporate experience you have
almost cant blame them since their wages arent enough to keep them from living out of their cars
you got me, Glinda. I was telling a funny joke.
Of course large corporations, especially those located in CA, don’t have large HR departments who spend large sums of time and money precisely to check all the EEO boxes in an effort to avoid the many lawsuits they know are just waiting in the wings
I’m sure it was a regular frat party up in there, and it was wholly condoned by corporate HR, because they know that there’s no way they could get in trouble or that our society is keenly sensitive to accusations of this nature
Not only might there be individual cases of discrimination, but I’m sure that the state will present the many instances of discriminatory practices built into this multi-billion dollar corporation’s policies and practices.
I even heard from an insider source that J. Allen Brack personally knew of what was happening and said “what? like anyone would sue us for EEO here in CA. Give me a break. mwuhahahahahaha! Boys will be boys. I hate women!” It was then that his female head of HR shook his hand and everyone in the boardroom clapped.
Humor is not allowed here.
Yes they do! After all the…
…wait, you’re being sarcastic aren’t you? Oh, you!
J. Allen Brack personally knew what was happening with Alex Afrasiabi’s drinking and sexual harassment/assault and verbally counseled him to play nice.
There’s a reason why Afrasiabi quietly went away, and I guarantee that it was because they didn’t want him talking to the investigators from the state of California.
It’s all going to come out and a LOT of people at Blizz are going to lose their jobs, including a bunch of very scared HR execs.
The suit also points to a female Activision employee who took her own life while on a company trip with her male supervisor. The employee had been subjected to intense sexual harassment prior to her death, including having nude photos passed around at a company holiday party, the complaint says.
Ok boomer
I agree with you to a certain extent.
I think these kind of things are more common in the upper echelons of an organization like this. The good old boys will protect one another to an extent, and the higher up you go on the food chain the more dysfunctional the players become. There’s many Matt Lauers out there.
But it would be a reach to state that the wider corporate culture condoned sexual harassment or that it’s something any of the rank and file felt they could get away with.
That’s not to say that sexual harassment doesn’t occur at the lower levels, but there’s no way those people are shielded.
2 year investigation by the state. they have alot
That has nothing to do with TBCC. Take this crap nack to retail general.
This is quite possibly one of the least informed opinions ever.
