Activision ruining WoW?

So I don’t really know how any of this works, I’m just going off of things I’ve heard.

So it’s my understanding that Activision is the one who’s driving blizzard devs/employees out and strong arming them into releasing content before it’s actually ready (like BFA). If this is true.... why or how does Activision have this kind of power over Blizzard?

I also heard something about them wanting to completely take over and change it to their name so then we will see “Activision presents”.... if Activision is the cancer that’s ruining the company... couldn’t they take steps to end the “partnership”?

I know a lot of people weren’t happy when they first announced the partnership. If Activision is responsible for most of the problems we have, then yeah I agree they need to go. Could something be done about it? Is it too late?
Activision literally owns Blizzard now. Theres no separating the two.

All companies are ruining gaming. Sure businesses existed to make a profit since the beginning of time, but I've never seen them this anti-consumer and greedy before.

Unless Blizzard can somehow buy back all the shares Activision owns, there's no leaving it. But that's not going to happen. So for now, Activision just shifts Blizzard in whatever profit-oriented direction they want, regardless of what it does to the game.
I just see Diablos rotting body along with the other franchises slowly withering away and you hear the saddest song in the background, only to see the heavens open and the hand of Command and Conquer reaching out

In the arms of the angel...

I guess I meant “Activision ruining Blizzard?”.

Well that’s depressing to hear. Still gonna hold on to hope for better changes in the future.
Remember the excuse EA gave why the new C&C game was on mobile? Spoilers... It was the same one blizzard gave. "To reach more mone...errr people"
Activision ruined Diablo. Wow is likely its next victim.

I'm really surprised we haven't seen an attempt at WoW mobile yet.

The Diablo franchise seems to be ruined. The mobile market is large, but it's a totally different market. The people they'll be reaching aren't their current fan base, and that is pathetic. Grow your game without sacrificing the players who made the game what it is.

I don't even like Diablo. But this was bad and made me sad. It's probably a sign of what's to come.

Did Diablo require a sub? I dont play it
The buggy mess that BFA is and now the absolute awful buggy mess that Call of Duty Black Ops 4 is, it's becoming harder and harder for me to continue to buy products with an "Activision" name on it.

They're pushing product out that isn't finished, that's buggy and is rushed and it's very apparent. They have this new guideline of spending the next few months after a launch of a new game hammering out the problems. Meanwhile we're paying premium price for an unfinished product.

It's disheartening. It's dirty and I, as a shareholder, will be vehemently advocating that they get back to what they once were ... or I'll take my entertainment and money elsewhere. This is a disgrace to gaming and it's a disgrace what I'm seeing from these companies.

Blizzard can't buy their shares from Activision, they share the same stock index.
If Blizzard cared about making quality video games anymore, they would have bought back their shares from Activision the moment Diablo Immortal was suggested.

But they don't, so they didn't, so we're forced to suck at the sump pump of mediocrity until we can find some other dopamine trigger.

They're halfway there pruning. They'd need to prune down to 3-4 spells for mobile though... a big nuke with long CD , medium damage with short CD, filler spam low damage instacast and then a 4th utility spell- either a shield or a heal or a burst window buff. 5G and beyond coverage will help as well pushing the big wow data up and down

Mobile games cant handle juggling 20+ spells. It's just too much for touchscreen. You already need both thumbs just to move. So shifting between several spell books wouldnt mobile well

Theyve been pruning for what 3 expansions? 4?? They're taking the marathon approach rather than sprint for wow mobile.
There's basically no OG Blizzard people left.
form the saviors of blizzard foundation and buy up the activision side then donate the thing back to blizzard. haha

The sad part is, that it doesn't matter to Activision if WoW goes down once and for all. This game is old and they are just going to milk it for as long as they can.

oh that's sad...
Push RNG to force wow tokens.
Create formula model and recreate it ad nauseum... timeless isle becomes tanaan jungle becomes broken isles becomes BFA...
A go fund me to buy out activision would be funny, even more so if it succeeded.
