Shadowlands was like the highest selling PC game of all time. I highly doubt they are abandoning WoW.

Fastest not highest.

Highest belongs to PUBG, Minecraft, and Diablo 3.

WoW is the higest/most played Subscription based game though.

Wow’s visions has been pretty much the same it has been the last decade. Killing epic stuff in raids & dungeons, and fighting pvp. Then you have the side tasks you do to help with those.

A better question is simply: Do the game directors actually have a coherent vision for this game based on an understanding of what players actually enjoy?

I don’t think they do.

They don’t. They have the clear understanding that if they do exactly as they are told to, they get to keep enjoying a paycheck.

No. It might look like it, but I think what they are really doing is maximizing “efficiency” and “optimizing” their profit vs effort into the game.

Hardcores must relate I am sure as that’s exactly what the do when they play the game. Match made in heaven imo.

With no real support in the game, no balance patches, bugging content that is still broken months after release. No communication to the community. AWC is a completely boring broken mess.

Wow has no direction, no vision. It feels like a glitchy, mess of a game to play. It seems like they can’t support this game with the skeleton crew of a staff they have.

If you look at the trend of posts on the forums. Everyone who plays a character who is not brokenly OP is complaining how the game is bad. Then you’ll get people who really enjoy it, because they are playing the 5 classes that can one shot everyone.

In short, the game is not fun without support from Blizzard. Balance patches, bug patches, and communication does not exist.

If the trend continues like BFA, we won’t see any support from blizzard for months or years.

All I was asking is if you wanted to supersize your meal for an extra .59, sir.

Worst M+ tank here and poorly stated frost PvPer… I am having fun, game does have issues that needs addressed but don’t make random blanket statements, they only weaken your point.

your statements are not true, also 5 classes that can oneshot everyone? then a paladin can oneshot a druid. In that case druid can not oneshot everyone. because paladin killed him/her.
blizzard tries to fix balance issue with updates or hotfixes also.

In other words, it’s a typical WoW release.

You’re wrong that they haven’t been fixing things however. Read the patch notes. (Admittedly, most fixes take a few iterations…)

Sorta. Usually they get expansions sorted out when the do the “catch-up” patch before the next expansion. So… come back in 12-15 months?

Or play WoW Classic.
