Also forgot to add a lot folks are writing like is unchecked power.
It’s a public company.
The president answers to the CEO and the CEO ultimately answers to the board of directors which in turn is representing the shareholders.
It’s not like as president she just wakes up one day goes straight to development and demands sweeping changes to wow.
She needs to sell it to her boss first at a minimum.
I don’t trust with them only just making a twitter to make that post and putting a psalm in their bio.
The president of Blizzard does not get directly involved with game development. That’s not their job. The only reason people felt it was like this in the past, was people who were formerly on a development team ended up being president.
It’s a fair opinion. Could be right. I just think it goes another direction and they try to reinvigorate a market in need of a new game.
I have no idea who the new person is; you peeps do know these blizzard presidents etc just are more corporate than anything and look over all the games, they aren’t developers.
Ybarra jumped ship [he really changed quickly from ‘‘ooo i want to work here forever, they’ll drag me out’’ or something to ‘‘going to travel the world’’] lol
He was a proponent of esports, m+. Loved what Ion did. Two big red flags for me
We are here with john, holly who are mostly calling the shots for warcraft.
I feel they were ticking a box and wanted a corporate minded person to report to the microsoft dude who oversees that area.
If we ever thought WoW is gonna get better; think again.
Maybe some company can do that but it won’t be Blizzard.
NGL I know nothing of her but she kinda cute.
