I am outraged! There’s only one lifeless zombie on the team and that’s Ion, if they want a truly inclusive environment then they need to bring in more soulless undead to work on the game. We really need to bring their unique perspective to development.

The board probably forced him to take the pay cut. Board members don’t like when bad things like what’s happening with Acti-Blizz happens. I’m surprised they didn’t force him to resign.

I doubt he is forgoing his bonus and stock dividends though. Don’t worry, I’m sure he’ll be alright.
If it isn’t half (Which I know it isn’t). Then he’s clearly still trying to feed his 7th yacht. And needing diverse people in the workplace doesn’t mean crap if they don’t know what they’re doing. I certainly wouldn’t want incompetence for the sake of diversity in places like ship ports that’s failing to get goods off stranded ships waiting for their turn.
So I better hope that they do make sure they’re HIRING for experience first and diversity second if they are capable enough for the job.

It’s true. At a certain level of rich they are no longer in it for the money 
. It’s about that sweet sweet high off of being in control and having the power to destroy lives with the whim of a fart.
Lets be honest here. Most of human natures greed would not volunteer to take that pay cut. If anything they told him his new terms if he wanted to keep his job and gave him conditions to meet to get his money back and keep his job.
If you want to argue contract conditions I will also bet that they found loopholes to force him to actually agree to his new conditions as well. Also I hope they retweak that automatic termination because they will be going from far left to far right when you do have friends you can joke with and if accidentally overheard or someone wants to be a karen then the actual innocent and good people still get fired.
