It explains why their decisions are so outdated.
Their entire outlook on respect is all the way back in the 1940s.
lmao.

I never said I wasn’t willing to stoop to ad hominem when the situation warranted it. I would be happy to insult you for a while yet.
I think we can all agree the optics here are pretty bad. And as pointed out above and elsewhere, their “statement” in response just put gas on the fire.
Honestly, I am surprised more corporations are not being sued. This type of corporate culture has been prominent since, well… forever.
Oh no apologies necessary though I do thank you for the clarification (and understand that its required.)
I just enjoy learning about current cases so I decided to ask and you seemed well informed. The assumption was all mine.
I realize that. The reason I added Avenatti to my comment is because of all the craziness of the last 5 years or so.
We’ve had people lying about other people right and left, like the time those girls were hit by a car on the freeway in Seattle and a woman claimed it was a “white guy” who did it when it wasn’t.
She tried to make it out to be a race thing, etc… it was nuts. She had a lot of people going for it, too.
All I’m saying is that the craziness isn’t over and we don’t have all the info, just a piece of it so best to withhold forming a concrete opinion and assigning guilt until more info is provided, usually during trial.
You know what surprises me a little bit - that so many women are still paid less for the same job as men in 2021.
yes boobs produce milk, children suckle to obtain said milk. I’m more then familiar as my wife has breast fed.
A real lawyer wouldn’t even step into this conversation.
On your wife’s behalf, just do a little Googling on pregnancy, breasts, lady bits, etc. It might be really interesting for you to learn some new things about your wife’s body.
Another situation that has zero percent to do with this case.
If you want to know what’s happening, read the filing. It makes it clear that this isn’t random unsubstantiated allegations made by a single person. The fact that it’s the result of a two year investigation and was filed by the state itself makes this very, very different than all the “but what about” culture war nonsense people see brought up all the time as counter-claims to defend anyone accused of anything.
It depends on several things.
Experience and position, how many hours worked, direct comparison of the industry, and so much more. When all that is factored in there is not much if any wage gap in favor of men. Though in service jobs such as waitresses and child care it lean in the favor of woman.
Its a fascinating topic that leads you to see how easily statistics can be manipulated to make it support any conclusion you want.
I plan to send it to Viva Frie and ask for a review on it. I hope he does as its somewhat interesting.
I did read the filing. The whole thing. I also read Blizzards response.
I’m not going to condemn anyone until all the info is in, til a trial has occurred, til all evidence and proof has been submitted.
You shouldn’t, either.
Losing arguments always turn political.
Ummm… might want to tell him to avoid the “videos” sites then. Else this is going to spiral down into a world he isn’t mentally prepared for.
You can argue all what you want, but in the end the damage to Blizz is already done socially speaking. Personally I believe in the victims, maybe you don’t, but there is a fact: Blizzard will not socially resist the storm that is coming right now. Even people from Blizzard are speaking in Twitter about this (not anonymously) and all gaming media is talking about this. From a reputation perspective Blizz has died today.
Maybe if they fire the harassers they restore some rep back, but the future will tell…
Don’t even go into “statistics” - if they support your position they’re great / solid. If they support the other guy - they’re manipulated. I know the story.
As a working woman who, through my job, sees the incomes of couples all day - my anecdotal evidence is men by far make more than women. It’s really rare when the wife earns more than the husband.
Another black-and-white, absolute statement made by someone who likely has chastised conservatives in general and Christians in particular for making absolute statements, instead claiming that things like morality are relative. And you’re making this claim without evidence to support it.
Typical.
I didn’t bring up politics.
