odd question - yes probably worked about 10 of them in my lifetime before I retired.
McDonald’s ?
AKA : it’s a worker’s market. AKA : if you don’t like your conditions, you can easily get better elsewhere.
Why would you be “scared” of your employer in such a market ?
Cnn is the news you go to? Let me guess you get your facts from msmbc and fox too. That’s telling.
That’s why I linked you multiple sources. The worker shortage is well known. I live it daily at my job, we have dozens of unfilled positions with no applicants.
Ooooo McDonald’s. You’re really reaching now assuming that’s where I work.
My entire point this whole useless discussion has been that if those employees are striking do to mistreatment, underpay, overworked or whatever, then they are justified in doing so.
Leaving the job won’t change what that job did and they’ll just repeat the same problems on new employees.
No if they aren’t unionized. And there’s literally no evidence that they are striking.
If they can’t fill positions, they’ll have to offer more pay to try and entice applicants. That’s how it works.
You obviously don’t understand the real world, I’m kinda done trying to reason with you. Go contribute to the guy’s 4K TV through his GoFundMe for all I care, Grifters gonna grift you.
I understand the real world dude. I’ve lived long enough to understand how the world works.
Not everything has to be unionized. Strikes anywhere happen for anything and most times unions aren’t apart of it.
You wanna side with ceos who treat employees like crap all because its not part of your precious union then by all means do so.
Those employers may at first offer higher pay but it won’t stop them lowering it and still treating employees like crap.
And again I never said I was donating to a gofundme. You once again failed reading comprehension.
This is baseless strawmaning. Imagine accusing the pro-Union person of siding with the CEOs.
You don’t deserve a serious reply, this is just trolling.
Well you’ve given no reason to believe you care about the employees. So accuse me of trolling all you want dude. That’s all you have.
I explained everything to you dozens of time now. I can’t make you understand simple real world rules about employment if you just refuse.
Go pay money to a GoFundMe if that’s how you think the real world operates, your loss.
Unionization is the only way to go. Fact. Someone like you who just says “it’s justified!” is obviously trolling, in light that’s it’s 100% unjustifiable for an individual to walk out of a job on a whim.
Again i never said I was giving money. Learn to read.
People are justified for walking out for any reason regardless of you agreeing with them or not. No one has to stay somewhere where they’re not treated fairly and given the proper compensation they deserve. Some people strike and thats their choice but I’m not gonna judge them for that just because they aren’t a union.
And I never sided with CEOs.
It’s called quitting. Don’t expect to walk back in after doing it.
I’m going to stop replying now. You go enjoy your little walk out and your newfound unemployment. You can have the last word even.
Now whose grasping at straws. I never said I was walking out of anywhere.
If my job doesn’t pay me what I’m rightly due then yes I’ll walk out and get a new job but me personally has nothing to do with the subject at hand.
I guess it all depends on how the organizing is going, and if they have a union they’re working with and what kind of support they’re offering. To me it feels a bit like they’ve realized there’s good odds that they might end up striking around the same time or soon after the union is formed and so they want a headstart on a strike fund to be safe. Yeah it’s not standard, but not exactly the standard situation.
I just hope an actual established and somewhat related union has been reaching out to help with the organizing, this is a big industry that needs some more labor protections and this would be a nice foothold, and especially the entertainment unions do not play games.
WoW, that’s inappropriate. Not everyone who works with computers in India is a scammer, nor the vast majority.
I will forever find those voice-mails funny. Those scammers are a joke.
Been waiting to get an actual one so I can troll them.
I’m from gen x, we don’t care so much about hurting someones fee fees.
That PC garbage is a big part of this mess.
And like Garrosh, I stand by what I said.
I got one at work one time and they were trying to pose as the police, telling me I had to pay with an Amazon card to renew my car registration or they would come arrest me.
I said “oh really? you gonna come all the way from India to arrest me?”

I love how the only way to pay these so called fines is through pre payed cards. Usually like 20 or 30 of them.
Yeah, they do it like that because there really isn’t anyway for you to get your money back.
If you call the company that issues the gift cards, 9 times out of 10 they will tell you to go pound sand.
