Patch 9.2 seems to have made some Shadowlands world quests no longer appear on my map unless my characters travel to where they are taking place. This bug was present Legion, was also reported in BfA, and now SL WQs that were working right are now sometimes buggy.
A few examples:
- We’ll Workshop It located in Ardenweald. Sometimes it shows up on the map, but this morning it does not.
- Several daily WQs attached to the Night Fae sanctum upgrade path sometimes do not show up. They are the ones that are centered on the flight path at Tirna Vaal. They were always visible before patch 9.2, but now they are semi-frequently missing from the map.
- A WQ in Revendreth, slightly north of Darkhaven, that I had never seen before this week was not visible until I entered the area. I don’t remember the name, but it involved collecting plant food to feed to an NPC that would then be ridden for vehicle combat.
I don’t know how many more are buggy given I have to fly into the area to see whether or not they are up.
My map window is toggled to show everything but pet battles, and these are not pet battles. I have all rewards toggled on. Turning them all off and back on does not help.
The only add-on I’m running is Weakauras. This also happens without it and after deleting the Cache, Interface, and WTF folders.
This is happening across all characters. Logging out of the game and back in does not fix it. Reloading the UI does not fix it.
Update (August 10, 2022)
We’ll Workshop It still does not show up on the map unless I am in the active area the nearby Glitterfall Basin. I have not bothered to check the others.
Please fix the phasing bug of WQs not always showing up on the map. This has been present as far back as Legion.
