Hi I’m new around here and trying to find a active server to play on. So far I’ve been having a hard time finding trying to get into any dungeons w/o having to buy runs but like I said I’m new so I don’t have the gold to spend on that. Going to suck to reroll but I’d like to have some fun Can anyone point me to a good server. Thank you for your help
Ironforge.pro has server pops and faction balance. It’s not exact but a close indicator. The big servers will have more going on but it makes farming a bit harder in some regards. The game is in its last phase so the burnout is big and people just want to boost their characters for tbc.
Hey there, Solstice rerolled recently on Grobbulus and we’d love for you to join us!
Hey Novacainx, I recently rolled on Whitemane Alliance (about 10 days ago).
I’m now level 39. There are currently 150 members online in our guild. We are a very active guild and leveling, questing, instancing community. I’ve run every instance so far multiple times, and just finished RFD.
If you’re looking for a great, legit leveling community with active, friendly and helpful members, I suggest you come check us out on Whitemane. It just might be a good fit, I know I’ve been having a blast!
That’s only raiders. It’s not total population.
Which is why I said it’s not exact but a close indication. Most people in this game do raid in some form.
You’d be surprised how many don’t.
Well yeah, but if OP is looking for an active leveling community that doesn’t necessarily correlate to servers with higher current raiding populations. Some servers have massive end game raiding populations and very few levelers or vice versa.
I wish I had a positive suggestion for OP of a realm to check out but both the servers I play on have pretty small leveling communities. You can find groups, but it’s not easy at this point in classic.
Have you tried Whitemane? I’ve been seeing they have a very active levelling community.
The tricky thing is now in P6 there’s not nearly as many people leveling new toons and running low level dungeons. If/when TBC is announced, you will probably find quite a few people coming back to level up a new toon or something for TBC. I also think solo questing is the way to go for leveling imo, but everyone is different
I’d personally try a PvE server if you haven’t. Pagle for Alliance and Mankrik for Horde. Mankrik especially seems to have a lot of fresh players now. Probably because all the Horde populations on the other PvE servers are dying.
I recently rerolled to horde on Mankirk and haven’t had many issues finding groups except in the wee hours of the morning. If you stick with priest and are willing to heal you shouldn’t have much issue. If you ever thought about tanking you would almost certainly be able to throw a group together whenever.
Edit: Just to add a bit more context. My shammy is lvl 40 and druid 35 and so far RFC, WC, SFK and SM groups have been pretty easy to find. RFK and RFD a bit less so. I rarely see anyone advertising for groups for gnomer or ulda. I haven’t paid much attention to people lfg for ZF or ST but there seems to be a decent amount of people looking for the 50+ dungeons.
There are 149 people online right now, actively forming groups with each other, leveling, questing, and instancing.
