Activating Hover should NOT interrupt casting

Hover lets you cast while moving, after Hover has been used. It should let you use Hover while actively casting (i.e. Disintegrate) and not stop your cast in the process of Hover’s activation.

Seems like a pretty basic quality of life fix.

I agree it seems like an oversight

Before TWW, it wasn’t as bad, but now that we have mass-dis/bombardments it feels really bad.

I mean just have to compensate by watching boss timers and pre hover, it’s still dumb af and bad though

The question is, should we have to compensate? It costing the global, ruins our overall rotation, especially during dragonrage. We already have a very low cast range of all ranged casters, its unfair to limit us even more…

There’s so many times where I’ll be in the middle of channeling disintigrate and the tank pulls the enemy/s out of my range so i have to cancel the channel, use hover to get back in range. When i could’ve just used hover while channeling to stay in range and not lose out on the last of the dmg.

This is the biggest reason I even made the post. The 25-yard range limitation is already frustrating enough sometimes to play around. If it must stay— smooth out the rough edges and perfect Evoker mobility in any way possible.

A glass cannon who is basically melee range shouldn’t also have to contend with janky mechanics.
