Actions Taken Against Gallywix And Gold Selling

sure they should clarify if accepting balance would be breaking ToS but this is also implied when they mention

accepting gold from this point could be considered being “involved”
the only reason gally is in trouble is RMT, this does not mean every single boosting community is ToS if it handles in only gold.

Of course guilds are allowed to have personal advertisers. selling things for gold is not against any rules. there does not need to be any clarification on this

I dunno I do my own personal sales and he seems to have an idea of how it works.

Can you clarify that this does not include all in-game gold-only transactions with Gallywix going forward will result in bans?

It’s pretty blatantly obvious how it works, you just clearly lack the reading comprehension to understand that you aren’t entitled by Blizzard to your gold.

They can’t confirm that. Because those futur transactions could be based around rmt. I’d consider it a big risk, but we will see how big the bans are maybe they aren’t that big and you’ll be fine.

Lack reading comprehension eh?

You’ll just get spammed by the organization that takes Gallywix’s place.

Answered you multiple times already. Keep asking the same questions over and over again, see where it gets you.

It’s not your answer we want lmao. How do you still not understand?

Gold boosting is specifically accepted by Blizzard as legitimate and not in violation of the Terms of Service.

Getting banned for violating the Terms of Service could not potentially happen in any activity that doesn’t involve violating the Terms of Service in the first place.

Gallywix has historically taken very, very strict actions against individuals or guilds engaging in RMT. The many guilds and players selling services for gold under the Gallywix banner sold their services with this in mind.

What’s not clear?

After performing a thorough investigation, we’ve identified that the Gallywix boosting organization has been taking part in gold selling for real money. Real money trading – also known as RMT – is a serious violation of our End-User License Agreement and is not tolerated, therefore we’ve begun taking action and have banned accounts in North America and Europe that were associated with this group and taking part in the real money trading transactions.

These actions have primarily targeted the Gallywix organization so far, but our investigations are ongoing and additional accounts involved with running this organization may be banned in the future.

Going forward, accounts may receive actions if they are found to be involved in future transactions with Gallywix or are actively advertising it.

Gallywix has been found to be selling gold. Selling gold is not allowed. If you continue to affiliate with known gold sellers your account might be banned.

Gold boosting is accepted but if you do not make the deal how sure are you that it wasn’t sold as rmt? That’s the thing about those communities it’s shady.

Not a single person is asking blizzard to make sure we get paid.

We are asking blizzard if we will have action taken against our account if we accept a payment.

those are two very different things.

Yes. Read the damn post.

Hopefully they have employees that do actual development and employees who investigate players cheating. If it’s the same guys doing both I think there’s a problem lol.

So you’re just trolling, or really dumb. Got it.

The sane option is to exercise extreme caution. Say for instance if the IRS were to scrutinize your income for 2019 but not 2018, you obviously had a paycheck at the start of 2019 that came from work in 2018. Regardless of when that work is done, the receipt/transmitting of payment is the only notable action. Just treat your 2 week balance with gally as that first paycheck of 2019, even if the work was legit done in 2018.
