Anyone using the action combat targeting and liking it? I have found that it is a hit/miss for me. Find sometimes my actions do not want to execute because do not have someone targetted and have to manual alt-tab one into range.
Ok, I spent a long time testing and creating a macro that I found works 100% of the time for the howling blast targeting issue:
#showtooltip
/cleartarget [dead][noharm]
/target [dead][noharm]
/cast Howling Blast
It works great in “Action Targeting” mode and does not deviate from the target you are attacking and does not accidentally target a nearby pack that no one in the group is attacking.
Im back to enjoying my frost DK once again 
Edit for additional info:
For other spells/abilities that you’re having issues with, remove “howling blast” text (after “/cast”) from the macro and replace it with the spell/ability you’re having issues with.
