Action camera

Just curious, does anyone else miss the action camera? I thought it was a pretty cool option, if a bit impractical in challenging content.

I know it had some problems causing motion sickness for some but I wonder why it wasn’t at least left in as an opt in option.

Any1 else like me and think it was kinda cool?

…I’m 99% sure it is still an option, you just need to use commands (or an addon to handle them) to access it.

I hope you’re right. I’ll have to check it out when I can play again (unfortunately another week or so due to work).

I thought they removed it completely. I had the command macroed at one time to swap through the options on it but don’t remember them. Deleted when they disabled it but didn’t know they turned it back on.

No you can still use it. Reset you interface settings to default then use the /console command

/console actioncam enable

or /console actioncam full

its neat for taking screenshots and stuff, but playing with it is a bit jarring

You can also work the camera magic for the action cam from the Accessibility options in the interface window.

Idk, I think with some tinkering (and an addon to set it up better) it can make something like leveling feel a lot more immersive. Very easy to have it rapidly bouncing between wildly different camera settings if you don’t spend some time working with it though.

Any good addon recommendations for detailed manipulation of the action cam?
