yesterday, i achieved and succeeded in a goal i had been attempting to complete for a rather long time and it felt very good to finally finish.
i would like to hear from some other wow players about their goals:
what were your goals and how did it feel to finally finish it?
what are some goals you are currently working on?
my goal is not to do m+ this season but stick to purely enchanting so that my friends will never have to beg me for gold to buy enchants.
A couple years ago I happened upon a collecting community and we spent a lot of time together working through achievements that either require other people or go a lot faster with others such as island meta achieves and collecting, bfa pvp achievements, wintergrasp meta, etc. It was a lot of fun, and I was really thankful for their companionship. It gave me something to look forward to. On top of that, I was surprised finding others who were as passionate if not more than I was at collecting or achievement hunting.
My goal was to get Back from the Beyond.
Yesterday I succeeded and got that insanely sick mount.
thats the great thing about communities is that you can find people who enjoy the same things you do and you can help them achieve their goals same as they can help you.
grats! It was so nice to get those extra rewards retroactively. Veilstrider was already such a cool title, and my favorite one. The mount was icing on the cake.
I always go for Ahead of The Curve/KSM…this season was just the awakened raids cleared on normal for the mount… I feel relieved when I finish as then I go on a WoW break
None. Already done this season. I might get the title for clearing all 3 raids on Heroic. We’ll see how good tomorrow night goes. If I full clear the raid on Heroic tomorrow, I will finish it - couldn’t quite clear the 1st raid on Heroic the 1st week
you should keep in mind that as the season goes on, people will have more gear and the raids will become easier.
Yeah, Like week 1 we hit a wall on heroic. Last week we full cleared heroic like it was nothing. Hoping that’s how tomorrow will go, then we can go back to the Vault on Wed and full clear it and be done
i did a fyrakk heroic pug last night to help a friend get the AOTC mount and it went quite smooth.
Yeah, see about that…there is no AOTC mount now. It was removed with the introduction of season 4.
tell that to my friend who got the everglowing ember quest item and turned it in for the shadowflame tint of the renewed protodrake.

I know we had some folks in our raid when we did all of heroic that hadn’t previously gotten AOTC and didn’t get one…

Collect every Whelpling pet in the game and complete the Awake The Drakes! achievement; did both and it felt great!
Now working on every Covenant set xmog for all armor types. Massive undertaking but halfway there!
Nah apparently they left the mount in, but took away the AOTC achievement. I heard of others still getting the mount, intentional or bug I don’t know, but I know in the fated Shadowlands you could still get the mount from jailer

GOOD NEWS! I can confirm [Renewed Proto-Drake: Embodiment of Shadowflame] is still obtainable when killing Fyrakk on Heroic during DF season 4. Just killed him today (1st day of Season 4) for 1st time and got the quest item!
