Achievements Are Still Specific To Individual Characters

Apologies if this is a duplicate thread and I may just be impatient or not understanding the process. That said, my understanding was that one the pre-patch hit, all of our characters would share a collective achievement level. Currently, when I log in (just now), each of my characters have their various achievement levels instead of each of them having the same level/number. Am I not understanding the shared achievements feature or are we still going to have a difference between Warband achievement number and individual character achievement numbers? Thanks.

Guild listing individual achievement points

One of the biggest selling features was the account wide stuff. I never main changed because alts show a pathetic amount of my achievement points in guild. Like some alts show 1,000 when I have over 29,000. I thought this would “fix” that and make alts display my total achievements in guild, not just what that specific character earned. I hope this is fixed so I don’t get locked onto this character again.

I made a post about it. On the website it shows all my toons with the same # of achievement points. But in game it hasn’t yet, super frustrating. Was the main thing that was going to allow me to main swap

This is exactly my situation. My main has roughly 15,000 more achievements than any other toon but I can’t bring myself to waste efforts on alts as those achievements end up on an alt instead of the main. If they sync it up so all toons have the same number, I would love to switch characters. I know some don’t focus on achievements and play what they want but my ADHD brain gets frustrated if I try.
