As many people who pay attention may know some of the Darkmoon Card Deck, specifically the Portals deck (Self-Rez Trinket) and to a lesser extent the Warlords Deck (Self-Heal Trinket) are very good for Progging and many of the top guilds have used them in some shape or form of either having the tanks and healers all use them or on certain fights having every person in the raid use them.
Because of this, a very useful trinket was basically cost walled due to all the cards being valuable and expensive. Now, Blizzard in their great wisdom decided to put a single Darkmoon Faire Card into every single Reals Box you buy. Great idea! Makes reals worth going for again, and allows people to get cards to help progging Scarlet Enclave which is a very difficult raid. Also, as a side effect it allows a person gearing an alt or a new player to get a decent trinket as usually trinkets are a harder piece of gear to come by. This is also better than what they did in the past where instead of making the cards (Dune and Plague) attainable to everyone they just nerfed them into the ground.
EXCEPT, in their infinite wisdom they decided to not include (or at an obscenely low drop rate, I opened 60 boxes with no Aces) Ace Cards in the Reals boxes, which anyone who thinks about it for two seconds will realize. Just caused all the value of the 7 other cards to get centralized into the Ace Cards. Go check the AH and all the Ace cards will have been bought out by the first person who was the first to realize this and are now listed for thousands of gold.
Blizzard, either go back and put the Ace cards into the boxes, or make the bosses that drop the Ace cards have a super high drop rate on them. Otherwise all this change did was centralize gold to whoever was quickest to figure it out and buy out the AH.
